KAHRAMAA Inaugurates Hamad Medical City Super Substation

Doha: The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) inaugurated the Hamad Medical City power super substation.

The inauguration of this station comes in the context of KAHRAMAA’s strategic plan to develop the electrical network, serve vital projects and meet all needs in line with the increasing demand for electricity in the country.

The station operates at 66/220/11 kV, which enables it to secure the electrical energy needed to cover the project needs at a total cost of QR155 million, including the implementation of the station project and all associated works. The capacity of the station is 200 MVA.

KAHRAMAA continues to play its role in implementing projects in coordination with the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) and Hamad Medical Corporation.

The Corporation is making a great effort in light of the challenges facing the work teams involved in the 2022 FIFA World Cup projects and the multiplicity of parties involved in these projects, working contractors and those in charge of them, to implement them on time, is one of the biggest challenges that require a high level of coordination and understanding with all of those parties.

The opening of the station is part of KAHRAMAA’s continuous endeavor to provide the best services in accordance with the highest standards of reliability in its electrical network and its work to develop and modernize the infrastructure of the electricity sector to meet all the needs and requirements of the state and society.

الدوحة: افتتحت المؤسسة العامة القطرية للكهرباء والماء /كهرماء/، محطة كهرباء /مدينة حمد الطبيّة الكبرى/، لتغذية مشروع مدينة حمد الطبية بالتيار الكهربائي.

ويأتي تدشين هذه المحطة في سياق الخطة الاستراتيجية للمؤسسة، التي تهدف إلى تطوير الشبكة الكهربائية، بما يخدم المشاريع الحيوية ويلبي جميع الاحتياجات، ويتماشى مع زيادة الطلب على الطاقة الكهربائية في الدولة.

وتعمل المحطة بجهد قدره 66/220/11 ك.ف، مما يمكنها من تأمين الطاقة الكهربائيّة اللازمة لتغطية احتياجات المشروع، وذلك بتكلفة إجمالية قدرها 155 مليون ريال قطري، تشمل تنفيذ مشروع المحطة وجميع الأعمال المصاحبة له، وتبلغ سعة المحطة 200 MVA.

جدير بالذكر أن /كهرماء/ مستمرة في القيام بدورها، فيما يتعلق بتنفيذ المشاريع القائمة على التنسيق والعمل المشترك مع هيئة الأشغال العامة /أشغال/ ومؤسسة حمد الطبيّة.

وتبذل المؤسسة جهداً كبيراً في ظل التحديات التي تواجه فرق العمل المنخرطة في مشاريع بطولة كأس العالم لكرة القدم 2022، ويعتبر تعدد الجهات المشاركة في هذه المشاريع، والمقاولين العاملين والقائمين عليها، لتنفيذها في الوقت المحدد، أحد أكبر التحديات التي تتطلب مستوى عاليا من التنسيق والتفاهم مع كافة تلك الأطراف.

ويندرج افتتاح هذه المحطة في إطار سعي /كهرماء/ المتواصل لتوفير أفضل الخدمات وفقاً لأعلى معايير الموثوقية والاعتماديّة في شبكتها الكهربائيّة، وعملها على تطوير وتحديث البنية التحتيّة في قطاع الكهرباء بما يلبي كافة احتياجات ومتطلبات الدولة والمجتمع.
