Turkey Welcomes Elections of Shura Council of the State of Qatar

Ankara: The Turkish Foreign Ministry has welcomed the holding of the Shura Council elections in the State of Qatar, hoping that its results will bring good to the people of Qatar.
“We appreciate the efforts of the Qatari leadership to hold these elections in a free and transparent environment, which constitutes an important step towards strengthening the participation of the Qatari people in the country’s governance,” Turkey’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
“Turkey hopes that the election results will be beneficial to the brotherly people of Qatar,” the ministry added.

أنقرة: أعربت وزارة الخارجية التركية عن ترحيبها بإجراء انتخابات مجلس الشورى بدولة قطر، متمنية أن تجلب نتائجها الخير لشعب قطر.
وأوضحت الوزارة في بيان يوم الأمس حول انتخابات مجلس الشورى القطري التي جرت اليوم وتعد الأولى من نوعها، أن هذه الانتخابات تشكل خطوة مهمة نحو تعزيز مشاركة الشعب القطري في إدارة البلاد.
وأشادت الخارجية التركية بجهود القيادة القطرية حول إجراء هذه الانتخابات في بيئة حرة وشفافة، قائلة “نتمنى أن تجلب نتائج الانتخابات الخير للشعب القطري الشقيق”.
