Ministry of Interior warns against inciting strife in Qatar society
الداخلية: تطبيق الإجراءات القانونية بحق كل من يحاول النيل من وحدة المجتمع
Doha: Ministry of Interior noted that some people are circulating messages and phrases that raise strife and target the components of society by provocation, defamation and abuse, which would cause division between the people of the same nation and damage the fabric of society.
In a tweet it affirmed that the ministry will take legal action against all those who try to undermine the unity of society.
The ministry noted that some are seeking to misusing different forms of media seeking to split national unity and sow divisions and hatred that Qatari society has overcome in the darkest conditions during the past years.
“And since inciting hateful sectarian or tribal strife, discrimination between members and components of society, or humiliating one group in society, are serious issues that affect the security and unity of society… The concerned authorities will not hesitate to apply all procedures in accordance with the law against anyone who tries to undermine the unity of society and cause harm to national and social cohesion, which is based on the principles of justice and equality between citizens in terms of public rights and duties,” it concluded in the statement.
الدوحة: حذرت وزارة الداخلية من إثارة النعرات واستهداف مكونات المجتمع بالاستفزاز والتجريح والإساءة.
وقالت عبر حسابها بموقع تويتر: “يتداول البعض عبر الوسائط الإعلامية المختلفة رسائل وعبارات تثير النعرات وتستهدف مكونات المجتمع بالاستفزاز والتجريح والإساءة الأمر الذي من شأنه إحداث الفرقة بين أبناء الوطن الواحد والإضرار بنسيج المجتمع”.
وأضافت: “ويلاحظ سعي البعض لتوظيف كل ذلك في شكل حملات إعلامية تسعى لشق الوحـدة الوطنية وزرع التفرقة والكراهية التي تجاوزها المجتمع القطري في أحلك الظروف خلال السنوات الماضية”.
وتابعت: “ولكون إثارة النعرات الطائفية أو القبلية البغيضة أو التمييز بين أفراد المجتمع ومكوناته أو تحقير فئة دون غيرها في المجتمع من المسائل الخطيرة التي تمس أمن المجتمع ووحدته فإن الجهات المعنية لن تتوانى في تطبيق كافة الإجراءات وفق القانون بحق كل من يحاول النيل من وحدة المجتمع وتماسكه أو المس باللحمة الوطنية والتماسك الاجتماعي، المستند على مبادى العدل والمساواة بين المواطنين في الحقوق والواجبات العامة”.
