“Gala of Champions”… Classical music for the World Cup stars

Doha: The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, in cooperation with the Katara Cultural Village Foundation, and the embassies of: Brazil, Germany, Italy, Argentina, France, Uruguay, Britain, and Spain, will present a musical evening entitled “Gala of Champions.”

It will be held on Thursday, November 17, at 7:30 at the Opera House in Katara. The orchestra will perform classical music from each of the countries that have previously won the World Cup.

The concert will feature music by Oscar Lorenzo Fernandez, Manuel de Falla, Ludwig van Beethoven, Gioachino Rossini, Edward Elgar, and many more. The Qatar Concert Hall and the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra will present a concert under the direction of the famous conductor Johannes Vogel, while the Qatar Concerts will be led by Maestro Giovanni Pasini.

الدوحة: تقدِّمُ أوركسترا قطر الفلهارمونيَّة وبالتعاون مع المؤسَّسة العامة للحي الثقافي «كتارا»، وسفارات كلٍّ من: البرازيل، ألمانيا، إيطاليا، الأرجنتين، فرنسا، أوروجواي، بريطانيا، وإسبانيا، أمسيةً موسيقيةً بعنوان «حفل الأبطال»، وذلك يوم الخميس الموافق 17 نوفمبر في تمام الساعة السابعة والنصف بدار الأوبرا في كتارا. وستقدمُ الأوركسترا خلال حفل موسيقى كلاسيكية من كل دولة من الدول التي تُوِّجت سابقًا ببطولة كأس العالم. وسيشهدُ الحفل مقطوعات موسيقية لأوسكار لورينزو فرنانديز، ومانويل دي فالا، ولودفيج فان بيتهوفن، وجيواتشينو روسيني، وإدوارد إلجار، وغيرهم الكثير. كما ستقدمُ جوقة قطر الموسيقية وأوركسترا قطر الفلهارمونيَّة حفلًا تحت قيادة المايسترو الشهير يوهانس فوغل، فيما سيقود كورال حفلات قطر المايسترو جيوفاني باسيني.
