Sand obstructs a road in Gharrafat al-Rayyan

Doha: One of the drivers of the construction materials transport vehicles at the company implementing the project to develop Al-Ittihad Street located in Gharrafat al-Rayyan area, dumped a load of sand on the side of the road, causing the closure of part of the road path, without regard to the conditions of security and safety on the roads that oblige companies to avoid closing roads with materials related to road construction operations, and if the company is obliged to do so, safety engineers must put up signs and diversions to warn drivers of the presence of materials specific to their projects on the road.

الدوحة: قام أحدُ سائقي عربات نقل موادّ البناء بالشركة المنفّذة لمشروع تطوير شارع الاتّحاد الواقعة بمنطقة غرافة الريان، بإلقاء حمولة الرمال على قارعة الطريق، ما تسبّب في غلق جزء من مسار الطريق، دون أيّ اعتبار لشروط الأمن والسلامة على الطّرق التي تلزم الشركات بتجنّب إغلاق الطرق بالموادّ الخاصة بعمليات إنشاء الطرق، وإن اضطرت الشركة لذلك فلا بدّ من قيام مُهندسي السلامة بوضع علامات وتحويلات لتحذير السائقين من وجود موادّ خاصّة بمشروعاتهم على الطريق.
