Goa, India: Al Rayyan, the representative of Qatari football in the 2021 AFC Champions League football, scored two goals to lead the match on to lose 3-2 to Al Wehda in the confrontation that brought together this evening at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa, in the third round of the Group E competitions in the continental competition.

Al Rayyan started the match strongly and had a chance in the fifth minute through Abdulaziz Hatem’s shot, which was sent away by goalkeeper Muhammad Al-Shamsi, and Al-Wehda responded with Omar Kharbin’s shot that passed outside the goal.
Al Rayyan managed to open the scoring at the 13th minute after Abdulaziz Hatem executed a direct free kick, and Al Wehda’s defense could not deal with it, and the ball reached Shuja Khalil Zadeh to shoot the net.
The Qatari team’s attempts to score the second goal continued in the 54th minute, after Yohan Poli sent a cross-pass that reached Abdulaziz Hatem to hit the net.
Wehda’s response was strong after this goal, and substitute Tim Matavz hit a dangerous attempt, but the post interfered to deny him the score in the 57th minute.
The Emirati team succeeded in reducing the difference through Mane Ayyad, who followed the rebound ball from Al Rayyan defense after Khalil Ibrahim’s shot in the 66th minute.
Khalil Ibrahim returned to score the equalizer for Al Wehda in the 85th minute, after he continued the push in through Matavaz, to shoot out of the reach of goalkeeper Fahd Younes.
At a time when everyone thought that the match would end in a draw, Al-Wehda snatched the precious winning goal when Abdullah Al-Karbi sent a cross pass, Faris Jumaa rose to it and turned his head into the goal in the 90 + 5 minute.
The fourth round of Group E will be held next Friday, where Al Rayyan will meet Al Wehda and Goa Persepolis.
Last Wednesday, the first round saw Persepolis beat Al Wahda 1-0 and drew 0-0 with Al Rayyan, while the second round, last Saturday, saw Persepolis beat Al Rayyan 3-1, and Al Wehda tied 0-0 with Goa.
And qualifies for the round of 16, the first place holder in each group, along with the best six clubs that get second place in the ten groups.

يتصدر بيرسيبوليس ترتيب المجموعة برصيد 6 نقاط من مباراتين، 4 نقاط من ثلاث مباريات للوحدة، ونقطتين لجوا ونقطة للريان.
وبدأ الريان المباراة بقوة وسنحت له فرصة بالدقيقة الخامسة عبر تسديدة عبدالعزيز حاتم التي أبعدها الحارس محمد الشامسي، ورد الوحدة عبر تسديدة عمر خربين التي مرت خارج المرمى.
ونجح الريان في افتتاح التسجيل عند الدقيقة (13 ) بعدما نفذ عبدالعزيز حاتم ركلة حرة مباشرة لم ينجح دفاع الوحدة في التعامل معها فوصلت الكرة إلى شجاع خليل زادة ليسدد في الشباك.
استمرت محاولات الفريق القطري ليسجل الهدف الثاني في الدقيقة (54) بعدما أرسل يوهان بولي تمريرة عكسية وصلت أمام عبدالعزيز حاتم ليسدد في المرمى.
وكانت ردة فعل الوحدة قوية بعد هذا الهدف، فسدد البديل تيم ماتافز محاولة خطيرة لكن القائم تدخل ليحرمه من التسجيل في الدقيقة (57).
ونجح الفريق الإماراتي في تقليص الفارق عن طريق مانع عياض الذي تابع الكرة المرتدة من دفاع الريان إثر تسديدة خليل إبراهيم في الدقيقة (66).
وعاد خليل إبراهيم ليسجل هدف التعادل للوحدة في الدقيقة (85) بعدما تابع رمية التماس التي نفذها ماتافاز ليسدد بعيداً عن متناول الحارس فهد يونس.
وفي الوقت الذي اعتقد فيه الجميع أن المباراة ستنتهي بالتعادل خطف الوحدة هدف الفوز الثمين عندما أرسل عبدالله الكربي تمريرة عرضية ارتقى لها فارس جمعة وحولها برأسه داخل المرمى في الدقيقة (90+5).
وتقام الجولة الرابعة من منافسات المجموعة الخامسة يوم الجمعة المقبل، حيث يلتقي الريان مع الوحدة، وجوا بيرسيبوليس.
وكانت الجولة الأولى شهدت يوم الأربعاء الماضي فوز بيرسيبوليس على الوحدة 1-0 وتعادل جوا مع الريان 0-0، في حين شهدت الجولة الثانية يوم /السبت/الماضي فوز بيرسيبوليس على الريان 3-1 وتعادل الوحدة مع جوا 0-0.
ويتأهل إلى دور الـ16 صاحب المركز الأول في كل مجموعة، إلى جانب أفضل ستة أندية تحصل على المركز الثاني في المجموعات العشر.
