MoPH collecting feedback about vaccine side effects

Doha: The Ministry of Public Health has initiated to collect feedback about any side effects that people are having from the COVID-19 vaccine and reaffirmed that people who suffer from allergies can take the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines safely.

The Ministry has included a COVID-19 vaccination feedback section (https://vaccinefeedback-covid19.moph.gov.qa/Home/Index) in the microsite of MoPH dedicated for details about vaccination. 

“It is very important that we collect and monitor any side effects that people are having from the COVID-19 vaccine,” said the Ministry. 

“It is important to record symptoms for all the doses. So please note you need to submit feedback for each dose separately,” it added. 

In order to register COVID-19 vaccination feedback individuals will need to login using National Authentication System (NAS) Tawtheeq username (usually the QID) and password in a link provided in the microsite of MoPH.  

“With any vaccine, individuals may develop side effects from the vaccine, and it is the same for those who have received the COVID-19 vaccine. Minor symptoms that occur after receiving a vaccine are normal and are expected as the body builds immunity,” said the Ministry. 

“These side effects can range from very minor side effects to more severe. If you are having any severe side effect, please call 999 or seek medical care in the nearest medical facility,” it added. 

Separately in it’s Twitter, the Ministry said that most people who suffer from allergies can take the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines safely. 

“However, people with any severe allergy to any component of the vaccine should not take it,” said the Ministry.

“During the pre-vaccination assessment carried out before each vaccination, the medical team will ask the patient about any allergies and discuss it with them. Everyone receiving the vaccine is monitored for a period of 15 minutes following the vaccination to ensure that there are no adverse reactions,” it added.

الدوحة: بدأت وزارة الصحة العامة في جمع الملاحظات حول أي آثار جانبية قد يعاني منها الأفراد من لقاح كوفيد-19 وأكدت أن الأشخاص الذين يعانون من الحساسية تجاه أدوية أخرى يمكنهم تلقي لقاح فايزر-بيونتيك أو لقاح موديرنا بأمان.

وقد أدرجت الوزارة قسم ملاحظات التطعيمات ضد فيروس كورونا في الموقع المصغر لوزارة الصحة العامة المخصص للحصول على تفاصيل حول التطعيم.

وقد صرّحت الوزارة: “من المهم جدًا أن نجمع ونراقب أي آثار جانبية يعاني منها الأشخاص من لقاح كوفيد-19”. وأضافت”من المهم تسجيل الأعراض لجميع الجرعات. لذا يرجى ملاحظة أنك بحاجة إلى إرسال الملاحظات عن كل جرعة على حدة “.

ومن أجل تسجيل ملاحظات التطعيمات ضد فيروس كورونا كوفيد-19، سيحتاج الأفراد إلى تسجيل الدخول باستخدام نظام التوثيق الوطني، اسم المستخدم في “توثيق” (عادةً ما يكون رقم التعريف الشخصي) وكلمة المرور في الرابط المقدم في الموقع المصغر لوزارة الصحة العامة.

وقالت الوزارة: ” قد يصاب الأفراد بآثار جانبية من أي لقاح، وينطبق الأمر نفسه على أولئك الذين تلقوا لقاح كوفيد-19. إن الأعراض البسيطة التي تظهر بعد تلقي التطعيم طبيعية ومتوقعة لأن الجسم يبني المناعة. وإن هذه الآثار الجانبية يمكن أن تتراوح من آثار جانبية طفيفة جدا إلى أعراض أكثر شدة. إذا كنت تعاني من أي آثار جانبية حادة، يرجى الاتصال بالرقم 999 أو طلب الرعاية الطبية في أقرب منشأة طبية”.

ونشرت الوزارة في موقعها على تويتر، “إن معظم الأشخاص الذين يعانون من الحساسية يمكنهم تناول لقاح فايزر-بيونتيك أو لقاح موديرنا بأمان. ومع ذلك، يجب على الأشخاص الذين يعانون من أي حساسية شديدة تجاه أي من مكونات اللقاح عدم تناوله”. وأكملت: “خلال التقييم السابق للتلقيح الذي يتم إجراؤه قبل كل تطعيم، سيسأل الفريق الطبي المريض عن أنواع الحساسية التي يعاني منها ويناقش الأمر معه. وستتم مراقبة كل من يتلقى اللقاح لمدة 15 دقيقة بعد التطعيم للتأكد من عدم وجود ردود فعل سلبية “.
