Four-stage plan to vaccinate the entire population of Qatar

Doha: Dr. Hamad Al-Rumaihi, Director of the Health Protection and Communicable Diseases Control Department, said during the ministry’s press conference held on Thursday evening, that there are 4 stages of vaccination against the Coronavirus.

Here are the details of these stages:

The first phase: From 9 December 2020 to 31 March 2021

•  Health care personnel most at risk of infection (workers in facilities designated for COVID-19 patients, intensive care units, etc)

•  Key personnel and first responders (ambulance teams, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defense, oil and gas sector, Hamad International Airport and Qatar Airways)

•  Long-term care and home care patients and people who are aged 70 and up 

•  Adults with severe or multiple conditions are most at risk of developing COVID-19

•  All people aged between 50 to 69 

•  More health care cadres and essential workers and 50% of teachers.

The second phase: From April 1 to June 30, 2021

•  All health care personnel not included in the first stage. The essential workers in the ministries and industries necessary for the continuation of work in society and are most at risk of exposure to or transmitting the disease.

•  Workers in the food, housekeeping, transportation, taxi drivers, hairdressers and salons sectors. And the rest of the teachers and school staff.

•  Persons with disease conditions that moderately increase their exposure to disease-related risks and not included in the first stage.

•  People aged 40 and above who are not included in the first phase

•  People in group accommodation facilities designated for persons with physical disabilities or psychological problems or in recovery phase and persons in detention facilities, prisons and similar facilities and those working in such facilities.

Third phase: From June 1 to July 31, 2021

•  Youth and children (when the COVID-19 vaccine is allowed to be used for children).

•  Workers in industries essential to the functioning of society who are at increased risk of disease are who not included in the first and second stages.

The fourth phase: From August 1 to October 31, 2021

•  And all the residents of the State of Qatar who did not receive the vaccination in the previous stages

الدوحة: قال الدكتور حمد الرميحي مدير حماية الصحة ومكافحة الأمراض الانتقالية ، خلال المؤتمر الصحفي للوزارة التي عقدته مساء الخميس، إن هناك 4 مراحل للتطعيم من فيروس كورونا .

إليك بالتفاصيل هذه المراحل:

المرحلة الأولى التي بدأت من 23 ديسمبر 2020 وحتى 31 مارس 2021 

•    كوادر الرعاية الصحية الأكثر عرضة لخطر العدوى بالفيروس (العاملون في المرافق المخصصة لمرضى كوفيد- 19 ، ووحدات العناية المركزة، إلخ). 

•    العاملون الأساسيون وكوادر الاستجابة الأولى (فرق الإسعاف، وزارة الداخلية، وزارة الدفاع، قطاع النفط والغاز، مطار حمد الدولي وطيران القطرية). 

•    مرضى الرعاية المطولة والرعاية المنزلية، والأشخاص بعمر ٧٠ عاما فما فوق. 

•    البالغون المصابون بحالات مرضية حادة أو متعددة من الأكثر عرضة للمخاطر المرتبطة بكوفيد- 19. 

•    جميع الأشخاص الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 50 و69 عاما. 

•    المزيد من كوادر الرعاية الصحية والعاملين الأساسيين. 

•    50% من المعلمين. 

المرحلة الثانية من 1 أبريل إلى 30 يونيو 2021 

•    جميع كوادر الرعاية الصحية غير المشمولين في المرحلة الأولى. 

•    العاملون الأساسيون في الوزارات والصناعات الضرورية لاستمرار العمل بالمجتمع من الكوادر الأكثر عرضة لخطر التعرض للمرض أو نقله (العاملين في قطاعات الغذاء، التدبير المنزلي، النقل، سائقي سيارات الأجرة، العاملين في محال الحلاقة والصالونات). 

•    بقية المعلمين وموظفي المدارس. 

•    الأشخاص المصابون بحالات مرضية تزيد من عرضتهم بصورة معتدلة للمخاطر المرتبطة بالمرض من غير المشمولين في المرحلة الأولى من مختلف الأعمار. 

•    الأشخاص البالغون من العمر ٤٠ عاما فما فوق من غير المشمولين في المرحلة الأولى. 

•    الأشخاص في مرافق الإقامة الجماعية المخصصة للأشخاص المصابين بإعاقات جسدية أو مشكلات نفسية أو في مرحلة التعافي. 

•    الأشخاص في مرافق الاحتجاز والسجون والمرافق المماثلة والعاملين في هذه المرافق. 

المرحلة الثالثة من 1 يونيو حتى 31 يوليو 2021 

•    الشباب.

•    الأطفال (عندما يتم السماح باستخدام لقاح كوفيد – 19 للأطفال). 

•    العاملون في الصناعات الضرورية لسير عمل المجتمع الأكثر عرضة لمخاطر متزايدة للإصابة بالمرض من غير المشمولين في المرحلتين الأولى والثانية. 

المرحلة الرابعة من 1 أغسطس حتى 31 أكتوبر 2021 

•   جميع سكان دولة قطر من الذين لم يتلقوا التطعيم في المراحل السابقة.
