PHCC received 9500 Patients during National Day holiday

Doha: The Primary Health Care Corporation said it received 9,498 patients from Qataris and non-Qataris alike in 18 of its 27 health centres between Thursday, December 17th and Saturday, December 19th, the days before and after the National Day holiday which fell on December 18th.

The total number mentioned includes all 4,242 patients received from general and family medicine clinics, while public dental clinics received 414 patients. This number also included all patients received in “urgent case units” in Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, Al-Ruwais Center, Al-Shihaniya Center, Al-Kaaban Center, Grrafat Al Rayyan Center, Rawdat Al-Khail Center, Muaither Center and Umm Salal Health Center, the number was 373 patients each of which was dealt with as necessary.

Primary Health Care Corporation explained that the Corporation also provided a number of specialized clinic services, including the eye clinic, the ear, nose and throat clinic, the dermatology clinic and the premarital examination clinic, in addition to the presence of pharmaceutical, radiology and laboratory services during the National Day holiday to meet the needs of all patients.

The eye clinic received 11 patients at Leabaib Center and the Airport Center, the ENT Clinic received 7 patients at Leabaib Center and Mesaimeer Center, and the Dermatology Clinic received 20 patients at Leabaib Center, while no visits were recorded at the pre-nuptial screening clinic at the West Bay Center and Leabaib Health Center.

Referring to the services provided by the Primary Health Care Corporation in its centers as part of the efforts to combat the Covid-19 epidemic in the country.

The Corporation received 1,927 patients at its health centers dedicated to receiving, examining and detaining suspected cases of Covid-19 virus around the clock, receiving 447 patients at The Muaither Health Center, 865 at Rawdat Al-Khail Center and 615 cases at umm Salal Health Center.

At the same time, the Primary Health Care Corporation’s Community Call Centre provided 145 virtual, visible and invisible medical consultations to patients who had contacted the 16,000 service line without prior appointment.

This type of consultation achieves speed needed by patients whose cases are classified as urgent to receive necessary medical care and any prescriptions for medications they need through a specialist doctor while ensuring social spacing.

During this period, the Corporation also succeeded in providing the “Covid -19 vehicle testing” service to 4,409 patients who were present in their own vehicles and were tested in their vehicles without having to enter the health centre.

A number of the centers are:

387 patients were examined at al-Wakra Health Center, 157 at al-Thumama Center, 184 in the West Bay Center, 362 in Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Center, and 52 in Leabaib Center. 203 patients at al-Khor Center, 27 at Qatar University Center, 191 at al-Rayyan Center, 46 at Al-Wajbah Center, 148 at Al-Waab Center and 245 at Mesaimeer Center.

The Primary Health Care Corporation confirmed that all health centers on duty during the national day were keen to receive the patients without delay in fulfilling their needs or increase in the waiting time, pointing out that meeting the needs of the patients is one of the main priorities that primary care is keen to achieve, as this is one of the most important pillars of the national health strategy and in line with Qatar’s national vision 2030.

The Corporation stressed the importance of making the utmost efforts to provide the best medical services and health care to citizens and residents, reflecting the efforts of the Primary Health Care Corporation in this field.

الدوحة: أوضحت مؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية انها قد قامت خلال الفترة مابين يوم الخميس 17 ديسمبر حتى يوم السبت 19 ديسمبر التي تخللتها عطلة اليوم الوطني لدولة قطر باستقبال 9498 مراجعا من القطريين وغير القطريين على السواء في 18 مركزاً صحياً من أصل مراكزها الصحية السبع والعشرين.

حيث إن المجموع المشار اليه يشمل جميع المراجعين الذين تم استقبالهم بعيادات الطب العام وطب الأسرة والبالغ عددهم 4242 مراجعا، بينما استقبلت عيادات الأسنان العامة 414 مراجعا. وشمل هذا العدد أيضا جميع الحالات التي تم استقبالها في “وحدات الحالات العاجلة” في كل من مركز ابو بكر الصديق ومركز الرويس ومركز الشيحانية ومركز الكعبان ومركز غرافة الريان ومركز روضة الخيل ومركز معيذر ومركز ام صلال الصحي، حيث بلغ عددهم 373 حالة تم التعامل مع كل حالة منها حسب ضرورتها.

وأوضحت مؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية بأن المؤسسة وفرت أيضا عدداً من خدمات العيادات التخصصية شملت عيادة العيون وعيادة الأنف والأذن والحنجرة وعيادة الأمراض الجلدية وعيادة فحص ما قبل الزواج، بالإضافة الى وجود خدمات الصيدلانية والأشعة والمختبر خلال عطلة اليوم الوطني وذلك لتلبية احتياجات جميع المراجعين.

حيث استقبلت عيادة العيون 11 مراجعا في مركز لعبيب ومركز المطار، وعيادة الأنف والأذن والحنجرة استقبلت 7 مراجعين في مركز لعبيب ومركز مسيمير، وعيادة الأمراض الجلدية استقبلت 20 مراجعاً في مركز لعبيب، بينما لم يتم تسجيل اي زيارات في عيادة فحص ما قبل الزواج في مركز الخليج الغربي ومركز لعبيب الصحي.

و بالإشارة إلى الخدمات التي تقدمها مؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية في مراكزها في إطار جهود مكافحة وباء كوفيد-19 في الدولة.

قامت المؤسسة باستقبال 1927 مراجعا في مراكزها الصحية المخصصة لاستقبال وفحص وحجز الحالات المشتبه في إصابتها بفيروس كورونا كوفيد-19 على مدار الساعة، حيث استقبلت منها 447 حالة في مركز معيذر الصحي و 865 حالة في مركز روضة الخيل، و615 حالة في مركز ام صلال الصحي.

وبنفس الوقت قدم مركز الاتصال المجتمعي التابع لمؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية عدد 145 استشارة طبية افتراضية مرئية وغير مرئية الى المُراجعين الذين تواصلوا بدون موعد مُسبق مع خط الخدمة 16000.

ويُحقق هذا النوع من الاستشارات سرعة حصول المرضى الذين يتم تصنيف حالاتهم بأنها عاجلة على الرعاية الصحية اللازمة وأي وصفات أدوية يحتاجون لها عن طريق طبيب متخصص مع ضمان التباعد الاجتماعي.

ونجحت المؤسسة بهذه الفترة أيضاً بتقديم خدمة “فحص كوفيد-19 من خلال المركبات” الى عدد 4409 مراجعين حضروا بمركباتهم الخاصة وتم اجراء الفحص لهم داخل مركباتهم دون الحاجة الى دخول المركز الصحي.

نذكر منها بعض المراكز حيث تم فحص 387 مراجعاً بمركز الوكرة الصحي، و157 مراجعا في مركز الثمامة، و184 مراجعا في مركز الخليج الغربي، و362 مراجعا في مركز ابو بكر الصديق، و52 مراجعا في مركز لعبيب، و203 مراجعين في مركز الخور، و27 مراجعا في مركز جامعة قطر، و191 مراجعا في مركز الريان، و46 مراجعا في مركز الوجبة، و148 مراجعا في مركز الوعب، و245 مراجعا في مركز مسيمير.

وأكدت مؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية أن جميع المراكز الصحية المناوبة خلال اليوم الوطني حرصت على استقبال المراجعين دون تأخير في إنجاز احتياجاتهم أو زيادة في وقت انتظارهم، مشيرة إلى أن تلبية احتياجات المراجعين يعد إحدى الأولويات الرئيسية التي تحرص الرعاية الأولية على تحقيقها، حيث يعد ذلك من أهم ركائز الاستراتيجية الوطنية للصحة وبما يتوافق مع رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030.

وشددت المؤسسة على أهمية بذل أقصى الجهود في سبيل تقديم أفضل الخدمات الطبية والرعاية الصحية للمواطنين والمقيمين بما يعكس الجهود التي تبذلها مؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية في هذا المجال.
