These geometric shapes are inspired by the magnificent motifs for which Islamic architecture has been famous throughout the ages, and their merging together in one painting reflects the wonderful handicrafts made in Qatar.

(1) It is the fourth stadium for the FIFA World Cup “Qatar 2022”.

(2) It has a capacity of about 40 thousand fans and will host matches in the World Cup until the Round of 16.

(3) Ahmed bin Ali Stadium was built on the site of the old stadium for Al-Rayyan Club, and 90% of the materials resulting from the removal of the old stadium were reused in building the new stadium.

(4) The people of the region will benefit from other sporting facilities that will be part of the area surrounding the stadium, such as football training fields, cricket fields, horse and cycling tracks, sports equipment, and an athletics field, which will be available for use, and will make the vast number of Sports facilities in this place a sports complex that benefits the people of Al-Rayyan, Qatar, and even visitors from outside the country.

(5) Its wavy exterior is decorated with symbols representing the Qatari culture, and the facilities surrounding the stadium reflect the nature of Qatar, as they take the form of sand dunes, indicating the beautiful desert character extending to the west of the country.

الدوحة: استوحى استاد أحمد بن علي المونديالي الذي تم تدشينه يوم الأمس باستضافة نهائي كأس الأمير لكرة القدم 2020 بين السد والعربي، تصميمه من الثقافة القطرية وتتألف واجهته من 7 نقوش قطرية ويستضيف 7 مباريات في مونديال قطر 2022 وهو حائز على 3 شهادات مرموقة في الاستدامة وتبلغ طاقته الاستيعابية 40 ألف مشجع وستنخفض مقاعد الاستاد إلى 50% بعد انتهاء المونديال.

واستوحيت هذه الأشكال الهندسية من الزخارف البديعة التي اشتهر بها فن العمارة الإسلامي عبر العصور، ويعكس اندماجها معاً في لوحة فنية واحدة الحرف اليدوية الرائعة التي تُصنع في قطر.

إليك أهم المعلومات عن استاد أحمد بن علي المونديالي:

(1) رابع ملاعب بطولة كأس العالم لكرة القدم “قطر 2022”.

(2) يتسع لحوالي 40 ألف مشجع وسيستضيف مباريات في المونديال حتى دور الـ16

(3) تم تشييد ملعب أحمد بن علي في موقع الاستاد القديم لنادي الريان، وأعيد استخدام 90% من المواد الناتجة عن إزالة الاستاد القديم في بناء الملعب الجديد.

(4) سيستفيد أهل المنطقة من المرافق الرياضية الأخرى التي ستكون جزءاً من المنطقة المحيطة بالاستاد، مثل ملاعب تدريب كرة القدم، وملاعب الكريكيت، ومسارات لركوب الخيل والدراجات الهوائية، ومعدات رياضية، وميدان لممارسة ألعاب القوى، التي ستكون متاحة للاستخدام، وسيجعل الكم الهائل من المرافق الرياضية الموجودة هذا المكان مجمعاً رياضياً يستفيد منه أهل الريان، وقطر، وحتى الزوار من خارج البلاد.

(5) تتزين واجهته الخارجية المتموجة برموز تمثل الثقافة القطرية وتعكس المرافق المحيطة بالاستاد طبيعة قطر، حيث تأخذ شكل الكثبان الرملية، في دلالة على الطابع الصحراوي الجميل الممتد غربي البلاد.

(6) يستقي الاستاد صفاته من منطقة الريان التي تحتضنه، والتي تتميز بموقع جغرافي محاذٍ للصحراء، مما يجعلها أكثر حرصاً على المحافظة على الطبيعة ومصادرها، لذا حرصت اللجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث على استخدام مواد بناء وممارسات صديقة للبيئة في إنشاء استاد أحمد بن علي الجديد.

(7) أُخذت معايير الاستدامة بعين الاعتبار عند تصميم الأجزاء المكونة للمنطقة المحيطة بالاستاد. وبعد انتهاء كأس العالم FIFA قطر ٢٠٢٢™، ستنخفض الطاقة الاستيعابية للاستاد المكون من ٤٠,٠٠٠ مقعد إلى النصف، حيث سيتم تفكيك النصف الآخر من المقاعد ومنحها لمشاريع تطوير كرة القدم حول العالم.

(8) يحيط بالاستاد حزام أخضر، يعيد للأذهان المكانة الخاصة التي تحتلها الطبيعة بالنسبة للريان، وقطر، ولبطولة كأس العالم FIFA ٢٠٢٢™.

(9) يتبنى مشروع استاد أحمد بن علي مبادئ الاستدامة الرئيسية، مدعوماً بالتزام اللجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث نحو ممارسات البناء الصديقة للبيئة.

(10) وضع تدابير خاصة بكفاءة استخدام الكهرباء والماء، كما جاء تخفيض البصمة الكربونية للاستاد بدرجة أكبر مع الانتهاء من ربطه بمحطة المترو التي تقوم على تنفيذها شركة سكك الحديد القطرية (الريل).

(11) ستتمتع المنطقة المحيطة باستاد أحمد بن علي بمسارات للمشي وركوب الدراجات، إلى جانب ١٢٥,٠٠٠ متر مربع من المساحات الخضراء التي ستحتضن نباتات متوطنة لا تستهلك الكثير من مياه الري وتكون متعة للناظرين.
