Doha: Spanish press reports revealed on Saturday that the Spanish club Barcelona is facing the specter of bankruptcy. The newspaper “Marca” stated that the Catalan is suffering due to the consequences of the emerging Coronavirus crisis, as the club needs to reduce salaries by 190 million euros as soon as possible.

The report added that the talks between the club’s management and the players regarding salary cuts during the past few days were the first step towards saving the club from its dangerous crisis. Marca says that the players must agree to a 30% reduction in their salaries by November 5, otherwise Barcelona will go into bankruptcy in January. 

Carles Tusquets, interim president of Barcelona, ​​warned of the seriousness of the economic situation of the Catalan club, saying: “This file is the most important thing that preoccupies us currently, the Corona pandemic has greatly affected the club.”Tusquets, interim president of Barcelona, added: “Our main concern is in the economic aspect, and the epidemic greatly affects Barcelona because the club depends on tourism and is not available now.

The situation is uncomfortable. We have to gather ideas from the previous council to address the bad things that affect us.” Barcelona’s board of directors formally announced his resignation last Tuesday, following a campaign to withdraw confidence from him.

الدوحة: كشفت تقارير صحافية إسبانية ، يوم الأمس السبت، عن أن نادي برشلونة الإسباني يواجه شبح الإفلاس.

وذكرت صحيفة “ماركا” أن الكتالوني يعاني بسبب تبعات أزمة فيروس كورونا المستجد، حيث يحتاج النادي إلى تخفيض الرواتب بمقدار 190 مليون يورو في أسرع وقت ممكن .

وأضاف التقرير أن المحادثات بين إدارة النادي واللاعبين بشأن تخفيض الرواتب، خلال الأيام القليلة الماضية كانت الخطوة الأولى نحو إنقاذ النادي من أزمته الخطيرة.

وتقول ماركا إنه يجب أن يوافق اللاعبون على تخفيض رواتبهم بنسبة 30% بحلول 5 نوفمبر المقبل، وإلا سيدخل برشلونة في حالة إفلاس في شهر يناير القادم. 

وحذر كارليس توسكيتس، الرئيس المؤقت لبرشلونة، من خطورة الموقف الاقتصادي للنادي الكتالوني، قائلاً: “هذا الملف هو أهم ما يشغلنا حاليًا، لقد أثرت جائحة كورونا بشكل كبير على النادي”

وأضاف توسكيتس، رئيس البارسا المؤقت: “قلقنا الرئيسي يتمثل في الناحية الاقتصادية، والوباء يؤثر بشكل كبير على برشلونة لأن النادي يعتمد على السياحة ولم تعد متاحة الآن، الوضع غير مريح، علينا جمع أفكار من المجلس السابق لمعالجة الأمور السيئة التي تؤثر علينا”.

وكان مجلس إدارة برشلونة قد أعلن استقالته بشكل رسمي يوم الثلاثاء الماضي في أعقاب حملة لسحب الثقة منه.
