HMC Opens Sealine Medical Clinic on Thursday for Camping Season

Doha: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) will open its clinics for the 2023/2024 winter camping season in the Sealine area on Thursday, for the 14th consecutive year. The clinic’s activities will continue until the end of the camping season on April 30, 2024.

HMC said in a statement that the clinic opens its doors throughout the camping season, every Thursday at 3pm, and operates continuously without interruption until 3am on Saturday, with 36 hours of continuous work. This schedule is maintained every week throughout the camping season.

Chief Communications Officer at HMC and Project Manager of Sealine Medical Clinic Hassan Mohammad Al Hail confirmed that the clinic is in its usual spot on the Sealine Beachfront. This location is known for its easy accessibility to and from the clinic, providing medical and emergency services to all visitors from the Sealine and Khor Al Adaid areas during the camping season.

Al Hail added, “The clinic plays a crucial role in serving beachgoers and campers in Sealine area as part of HMC’s commitment to providing healthcare services to all residents of the country in all regions and throughout the year.” He also urged all visitors to the area to follow safety guidelines and take precautions to prevent accidents, injuries, and potential diseases.

For his part, Chairman of Emergency Department at HMC and the Medical Director of HMC for Camping Season Dr. Aftab Mohammad Azad stated that the clinic in Sealine is equipped with all the necessary supplies and medications suitable for the types of medical cases it receives. The clinic accommodates all medical and emergency cases, and there is an ambulance landing pad nearby. A doctor and a nurse are present in the clinic during its opening hours, under the supervision of the medical director.

Dr. Aftab added, “The medical cases received by the clinic vary between simple and moderate cases, including colds, gastrointestinal infections, minor burns, and minor injuries, which are treated directly in the clinic. The clinic is fully equipped with medical devices and medications to handle emergency cases of this type. As for severe or critical medical cases, they are immediately transferred to the hospital by ambulance or air ambulance, based on the case’s classification.” Deputy Executive Director of Ambulance Services for Events and Emergency Plans at HMC Saleh Mgareh Al Mari emphasized that ambulance coverage is continuous in the Sealine area, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There are two regular ambulances, in addition to two four-wheel-drive ambulances for transporting patients from the sand dunes areas to the Sealine clinic or to the regular ambulance location or the air ambulance landing site as needed.

Al Mgareh highlighted the provision of air ambulance services and the deployment of various medical teams, including paramedics, critical care paramedics, rapid response paramedics, supervisors, communication officers, and operations managers. These teams were distributed according to the Emergency and Events Planning Department’s leadership and control system, aligning with the goals and plans for medical coverage during the camping season.

He added, “The Ambulance Service increases the number of ambulances in the Sealine camping area on weekends (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) and during school holidays and special occasions to a total of six regular ambulances, along with five four-wheel-drive ambulances that provide a unique response experience for emergency cases in the sand dunes with flexibility, smoothness, and without any obstacles, all within record time.” Al Mgareh indicated that the Ambulance Services have launched a 4×4 ambulance this year that responds to all cases in sandy areas and stands out for its spacious interior compared to other vehicles. This makes the paramedic’s job easier in terms of dealing with the patient, and in some cases, it allows the patient’s companions to accompany them inside the vehicle.

الدوحة: أعلنت مؤسسة حمد الطبية عن افتتاح عيادتها لموسم التخييم الشتوي 2023 / 2024 في منطقة “سيلين” للسنة الرابعة عشرة على التوالي، اعتبارا من /الخميس/، حيث تستمر أنشطة العيادة حتى نهاية موسم التخييم في الثلاثين من أبريل المقبل.

وذكرت المؤسسة في بيان، أن العيادة تفتح أبوابها لاستقبال المراجعين من المخيمين ورواد منطقة سيلين وخور العديد كل يوم خميس عند الساعة الثالثة عصرا، وتستمر أعمالها دون انقطاع حتى الساعة الثالثة من صباح يوم السبت، بواقع 36 ساعة عمل مستمرة، وذلك في كل أسبوع، وفي نفس المواعيد من الخميس إلى السبت طوال فترة التخييم.

وفي هذا الإطار، أوضح السيد حسن محمد الهيل، رئيس الاتصال المؤسسي بمؤسسة حمد الطبية ومدير مشروع مركز سيلين، أن العيادة متواجدة في موقعها المعتاد في واجهة شاطئ سيلين، حيث يمتاز هذا الموقع بسهولة الوصول إلى العيادة وانتقال المرضى منها وإليها، حيث تتوفر الخدمات الطبية والإسعافية لجميع رواد منطقة سيلين وخور العديد خلال فترة التخييم.

وقال: “إن العيادة تؤدي دورا مهما في خدمة مرتادي الشاطئ ومرتادي التخييم بمنطقة سيلين، وذلك في إطار قيام مؤسسة حمد الطبية بمسؤوليتها تجاه توفير الخدمات الصحية لجميع سكان الدولة، في كافة مناطق البلاد وطوال أيام العام”، داعيا جميع رواد المنطقة لاتباع إرشادات الأمن والسلامة وأخذ الحيطة والحذر، للوقاية من الحوادث والإصابات والأمراض المحتملة.

من جانبه، أكد الدكتور أفتاب محمد أزاد، رئيس إدارة الطوارئ بمؤسسة حمد الطبية والمسؤول الطبي عن عيادة حمد الطبية لموسم التخييم، أن العيادة في سيلين مجهزة بكافة المستلزمات والأدوية اللازمة التي تتناسب مع نوعية الحالات المرضية والطارئة التي تستقبلها، ويتوفر بجانبها مهبط لطائرات الإسعاف، كما يتواجد في العيادة طوال ساعات عملها طبيب وممرض تحت إشراف المسؤول الطبي للعيادة.

وأشار إلى تنوع الحالات المرضية التي تستقبلها العيادة بين حالات بسيطة أو متوسطة، والتي تشمل نزلات البرد، والنزلات المعوية، والحروق والجروح البسيطة، التي يتم التعامل معها في العيادة مباشرة، حيث تضم العيادة كافة التجهيزات والأدوية اللازمة لعلاج الحالات الطارئة من هذا النوع، فيما يتم نقل الحالات المرضية الشديدة أو الحالات الحرجة على الفور إلى المستشفى، عن طريق سيارات الإسعاف أو الإسعاف الطائر، وفقا لتصنيف الحالة.

إلى ذلك، أكد السيد صالح المقارح المري، مساعد المدير التنفيذي لخدمات الإسعاف للفعاليات وخطط الطوارئ بمؤسسة حمد الطبية، أن تغطية الإسعاف مستمرة بمنطقة سيلين على مدار 24 ساعة طوال أيام الأسبوع، حيث تتواجد بشكل دائم سيارتا إسعاف اعتياديتان، بالإضافة إلى سيارتي إسعاف دفع رباعي لنقل الحالات المرضية من مناطق الكثبان الرملية لعيادة سيلين أو إلى موقع سيارة الإسعاف العادية أو مهبط الإسعاف الجوي بحسب الحاجة.

وأشار إلى توفر خدمة الإسعاف الجوي والدفع بالعديد من الكوادر الطبية التي تشمل المسعفين ومسعفي الحالات الحرجة ومسعفي التدخل السريع والمشرفين وضباط الاتصالات ومسؤولي العمليات، حيث تم توزيع هذه الكوادر طبقا لخطط منظومة القيادة والسيطرة للفعاليات والعمليات اليومية والمحددة سلفا من قبل قسم تخطيط الطوارئ والفعاليات بإدارة خدمات الإسعاف، تماشيا مع أهداف وخطط التغطية الطبية لموسم التخييم.

ولفت إلى أن خدمة الإسعاف تقوم بزيادة عدد سيارات الإسعاف المتواجدة في منطقة المخيمات بسيلين في أيام العطلة الأسبوعية (عصر الخميس والجمعة والسبت) وأيام الإجازات المدرسية والمناسبات إلى 6 سيارات إسعاف عادية، مع توفير عدد 5 سيارات إسعاف ذات الدفع الرباعي للاستجابة لحالات الطواري في الكثبان الرملية بكل مرونة وسلاسة وبدون أي معوقات وبأوقات قياسية، مبينا أن خدمات الإسعاف قامت هذا العام بتدشين سيارة إسعاف دفع رباعي تستجيب لجميع الحالات في المناطق الرملية، وتتميز بأنها أكثر اتساعا من السيارات الأخرى، مما يسهل مهمة المسعف في التعامل مع المريض، كما أنها تتيح لذوي المريض في بعض الحالات إمكانية مرافقته داخل السيارة.
