Meteorology warns of “hottest days” as the nights of Pleiades star begin
الأرصاد تحذر من “أشد الأيام حرارة” مع بدء ليالي نجم الثريا

The Meteorological Department said the summer actually begins tonight as the nights of Pleiades star begin, warning of high temperatures and strong winds.
It explained via its Twitter account on Saturday evening that the number of days of Pleiades star are 13 and the time of appearance is the 7th of June, pointing out that the Pleiades star is a constellation of 7 clear stars of The Levant Stars and a group of the most famous star clusters known since ancient times, and with its appearance, summer begins.
It added that this star is known as the other day where the heat increases and the grass dries and the strong winds increase, it was said that the appearance of Pleiades star marks the start of the scorching heat that ends with Canopus star and the period between the appearances of the two stars marks the hottest days of the year.

قالت إدارة الأرصاد الجوية إن فصل الصيف يبدأ فعلياً الليلة مع بدء ليالي نجم الثريا، محذرة من ارتفاع درجة الحرارة والرياح القوية.
وأوضحت عبر حسابها بموقع تويتر مساء اليوم السبت أن عدد أيام نجم الثريا 13 ووقت الطلوع السابع من يونيو، لافتة إلى ان نجم الثريا هو 7 نجوم ظاهرة مجتمعة من النجوم الشامية ومن أشهر العناقيد النجمية المعروفة منذ القدم، وبظهورها يبدأ فصل الصيف فعلياً.
وأضافت أن هذا النجم يًعرف بالبارح الأول حيث يشتد فيه الحرارة ويجف العشب وتزداد هبوب الرياح القوية وأنه قيل قديماً أول القيظ طلوع الثريا وآخره طلوع سهيل وما بين النجمين هي أشد الأيام حرارة ولهيباً في السنة.
