Qatar’s envoy takes in preparatory meeting for third Paris Peace Forum

QNA – Paris:
Qatar’s ambassador to France HE Sheikh Ali bin Jassim al-Thani participated in the preparatory meeting for the third session of Paris Peace Forum organised by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs through video conference, with the participation of French Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian, senior officials of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and ambassadors accredited to France.
HE Sheikh Ali thanked the organisers and participants for the information presented during the meeting, and expressed his happiness for Qatar’s unwavering support for Paris Peace Forum.
For his part, the French foreign minister affirmed the holding of the forum’s third session from November 11-13, 2020, and made it clear that this session will be devoted to discussing possible solutions to confront the pandemic of the coronavirus.

شارك سعادة الشيخ علي بن جاسم آل ثاني سفير دولة قطر لدى الجمهورية الفرنسية في الاجتماع التحضيري للدورة الثالثة لمنتدى باريس من أجل السلام الذي نظمته وزارة الخارجية الفرنسية عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي، بمشاركة سعادة السيد جان إيف لودريان، وزير الخارجية الفرنسي وكبار المسؤولين في وزارة الخارجية الفرنسية والسفراء الأجانب المعتمدين لدى فرنسا.
ووجه سعادة الشيخ علي بن جاسم آل ثاني سفير دولة قطر لدى فرنسا رسالة إلى منظمي الاجتماع والمشاركين فيه، شكرهم فيها على المعلومات التي تم عرضها خلال الاجتماع، وأكد سعادته على دعم دولة قطر الثابت لمنتدى باريس من أجل السلام.
من جانبه، أكد سعادة وزير الخارجية الفرنسي على عقد الدورة الثالثة لمنتدى باريس من أجل السلام من 11 الى 13 نوفمبر 2020، وأوضح أن هذه الدورة ستكون مخصصة لبحث الحلول الممكنة لمواجهة جائحة فيروس كورونا المستجد.
