Qatar Central Bank announces Eid Al Fitr holiday

QNA – Doha:
Qatar Central Bank announced Tuesday that the Eid Al Fitr holiday for the current year for all financial institutions in the country (banks, currency exchanges, insurance companies, finance, investment, and financial consultants) will start from next Sunday May 24, 2020 and will end on Thursday May 28, 2020 provided that all financial institutions return to work before the public on Sunday, May 31 of the current year.
The bank said in a circular that all financial institutions operating in the state must fully close all its branches during the vacation period.

أعلن مصرف قطر المركزي أن عطلة عيد الفطر المبارك للعام الجاري لجميع المؤسسات المالية في الدولة (البنوك، والمصارف، ومحال الصرافة، وشركات التأمين، والتمويل، والاستثمار، والاستشارات المالية)، ستبدأ اعتبارا من يوم الأحد المقبل الموافق 24 مايو 2020 وتنتهي يوم الخميس الموافق 28 مايو 2020 على أن تباشر جميع المؤسسات المالية أعمالها أمام الجمهور يوم الأحد الموافق 31 مايو من العام الجاري.
وقال مصرف قطر المركزي في التعميم الذي أصدره بهذا الصدد إنه ” يجب على جميع المؤسسات المالية العاملة بالدولة إغلاق جميع فروعها إغلاقا تاما خلال العطلة “.
