Ooredoo distributes water, dates packages on Corniche

Doha: A host of Ooredoo volunteers distributed dates and water to families and people on the Doha Corniche recently to kick off the company’s CSR activities. Ooredoo volunteers arrived just before sundown to surprise people with water and dates to break their fast for Iftar.
Manar Khalifa Al Muraikhi, Ooredoo Director of PR and Corporate Communications, said: “Like every year, we surprised people passing by our Doha Corniche with water and dates to break their fast. It’s a great start to our CSR activities for this year, as we break fast with the people of our country. We encourage everyone to follow us and stay updated on our great activities and offers that we have in store for this year’s Holy Month.”
The volunteers, who represented some of the business units across the company, were stationed at the end of the Corniche near West Bay, to distribute the boxes at sunset to passers-by as well as people driving along the seafront.
قام فريق من متطوعي «ooredoo»، الخميس الماضي، بتوزيع الماء والتمر على مرتادي كورنيش الدوحة وقت الإفطار، وذلك ضمن إطار أنشطة الشركة للمسؤولية الاجتماعية خلال شهر رمضان المبارك. وقد شارك في هذه المبادرة متطوعون من مختلف أقسام وإدارات «ooredoo» عند نهاية طريق الكورنيش بالخليج الغربي، والذين حرصوا على مشاركة اللحظات الرمضانية المميزة مع أفراد المجتمع. وحول هذه المبادرة، قالت منار خليفة المريخي، مديرة إدارة العلاقات العامة واتصالات الشركة في «ooredoo قطر»: «كما هو الحال في كل العام، أحببنا أن نشارك أفراد المجتمع أجواء الشهر الفضيل، من خلال توزيع التمر والماء، وهي لفتة بسيطة نعبّر من خلالها عن تعزيز تواصلنا مع أفراد المجتمع من خلال مشاركتهم الإفطار، ونسعى من خلال أنشطة المسؤولية الاجتماعية التي نقيمها خلال شهر رمضان المبارك إلى نشر قيم المحبة والعطاء فيما بيننا». ويمكن للعملاء متابعة فعاليات المسؤولية الاجتماعية وعروض «ooredoo» لشهر رمضان المبارك، عبر حسابات الشركة على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
