Woqod opens Umm Al Juwashen petrol station

Qatar Fuel (Woqod) opened Monday the Umm Al Juwashen petrol station along Al Majd Road, raising its network of petrol stations to 104. The move is part of Woqod’s ongoing expansion plans to be able to serve every area in Qatar.
Woqod managing director & CEO Saad Rashid al-Muhannadi said, “We are pleased to open a new petrol station in Umm Al Juwashen, Al Majd Road. Woqod aspires to expand its petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products and achieve the goal of providing customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort.”
“The Woqod team would like to extend their gratitude to all governmental and private entities concerned that contributed to the completion of this project,” al-Muhannadi added.
The new Umm Al Juwashen petrol station is spread over a 40,000sq m area and has four lanes with eight dispensers for light vehicles, and three lanes with six dispensers for heavy vehicles, which will serve Umm Al Juwashen area, Al Majd Road, and its neighbourhood.
The Umm Al Juwashen petrol station offers round-the-clock services to residents, and includes Sidra convenience store, manual car wash, oil change and tyre repair for light and heavy vehicles, and sale of LPG cylinders ‘Shafaf’, in addition to sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles and heavy vehicles.

افتتحت قطر للوقود «وقود»، أمس الاثنين، محطة أم الجواشن على طريق المجد، ليصل عدد محطاتها الإجمالي إلى 104 محطات.
وبهذه المناسبة، صرح السيد سعد راشد المهندي، الرئيس التنفيذي والعضو المنتدب للشركة، قائلاً: «يسرنا اليوم افتتاح محطة أم الجواشن على طريق المجد، لتلبية احتياجات عملائنا الكرام في هذه المنطقة وما حولها»، مؤكداً أن افتتاح المحطة الجديدة من شأنه أن يترجم خطط وقود الطموحة في توسيع شبكة محطاتها وتسهيل الوصول إليها، كما يهدف إلى تلبية الطلب المتزايد على المنتجات البترولية في السوق المحلي، وضمان توفير منتجات وخدمات عالية الجودة لجميع العملاء في أنحاء الدولة، معرباً عن شكر الشركة وتقديرها لكل الجهات ذات العلاقة التي ساهمت وتساهم في إنجاز مشروعاتها الحيوية. وتبلغ مساحة محطة أم الجواشن 40000 متر مربع، وتحتوي على 4 خطوط تتضمن 8 مضخات لتعبئة الوقود للمركبات الخفيفة، كما تحتوي على 3 خطوط تتضمن 6 مضخات لتعبئة الديزل للشاحنات، وذلك لخدمة مرتادي منطقة أم الجواشن على طريق المجد والمناطق المجاورة لها.
