Qatar launches hotline for worker’s complaints
قطر تطلق خط ساخن لتلقي شكاوى العمال

Ministry of Administrative Development Labor and Social Affairs has launched a new hotline on 92727 service for receiving grievances of workers.
The workers can also send text message adding a digit 5 then their QID numbers or visa number if QID number is not available or expired.
“The new service is launched to communicate with laborers to address their problems in different languages,” said Muhammed Hassan Al Obaidly, Assistant Undersecretary for Labour Affairs at the Ministry.
Al Obaidly was speaking at a press conference on the procedures taken by the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs to curb the spread of COVIC-19 at the headquarters of the Ministry.
The Ministry coordinated with the Ministry of Interior regarding the renewal of the residency permit of workforce which were expired while they are outside of the country and unable to return to Qatar because of crises of coronavirus outbreak.
The residency permits of such workforce will be renewed automatically and they will be able to come to Qatar when the crisis will end, without any fine.

يمكن للعمال أيضًا إرسال رسالة نصية بإضافة رقم 5 ثم أرقام QID أو رقم التأشيرة إذا كان رقم QID غير متاح أو منتهي الصلاحية.
وقال محمد حسن العبيدلي وكيل الوزارة المساعد لشؤون العمل “انطلقت الخدمة الجديدة للتواصل مع العمال لمعالجة مشاكلهم بلغات مختلفة”. حيث كان العبيدلي يتحدث في مؤتمر صحفي حول الإجراءات التي اتخذتها وزارة التنمية الإدارية والعمل والشؤون الاجتماعية للحد من انتشار كوفيد-١٩ في مقر الوزارة.
قامت الوزارة بالتنسيق مع وزارة الداخلية فيما يتعلق بتجديد تصريح الإقامة للقوى العاملة التي انتهت صلاحيتها أثناء وجودهم خارج الدولة ولم يتمكنوا من العودة إلى قطر بسبب أزمات تفشي فيروس كورونا.
سيتم تجديد تصاريح الإقامة لهذه القوى العاملة تلقائيًا وستكون قادرة على القدوم إلى قطر عندما تنتهي الأزمة ، دون أي غرامة.
