MADLSA detects 3 companies violating precautionary requirements

The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs announced that three companies in the field of contracting and construction violated in work site in the Pearl area, the measures to be taken when the workers boarded buses, and did not keep precautionary distances and congestion inside the bus. 

The ministry said in a statement, yesterday, that in coordination with concerned security authorities, they will take necessary measures against the engineers responsible for the site and refer them to the investigation. 

This came during the inspection campaigns carried out by the Ministry in coordination with the security authorities on work sites and workers’ residence, to ensure that companies adhere to the policies issued by the ministry, which companies must apply to avoid the spread of the coronavirus (Coved-19) in work sites. 

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs has adopted and published a policy of actions that companies must take in the workplace and housing to protect workers and mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus.

أعلنت وزارة التنمية الإدارية والعمل والشؤون الاجتماعية أن ثلاث شركات في مجال المقاولات والإنشاءات خالفت بموقع عمل في منطقة اللؤلؤة، الإجراءات الواجب اتخاذها عند صعود العمالة إلى الحافلات، وعدم أخذ المسافات الاحترازية والازدحام داخل الحافلة.

وقالت الوزارة في بيان لها، أمس، إنه تم بالتنسيق مع الجهات الأمنية لاتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة ضد المهندسين المسؤولين عن الموقع وإحالتهم للتحقيق.

جاء ذلك خلال الحملات التفتيشية التي تقوم بها الوزارة بالتنسيق مع الجهات الأمنية على مواقع العمل وسكن العمال، للتأكد من التزام الشركات بالسياسات التي أصدرتها الوزارة والتي يجب على الشركات تطبيقها لتجنب انتشار فيروس كورونا (كوفيد – 19) في مواقع العمل.

الجدير بالذكر أن وزارة التنمية الإدارية والعمل والشؤون الاجتماعية اعتمدت ونشرت سياسة للإجراءات التي يجب على الشركات اتخاذها في مكان العمل والسكن لحماية العمال والتخفيف من انتشار فيروس كورونا.
