Woqod opens Baaya Petrol Station

DOHA: Qatar Fuel (Woqod) opened Baaya Petrol Station yesterday, that raised its network of various petrol stations to 97.
Woqod’s Managing Director & CEO, Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi, said:
“We are pleased to open new fixed petrol station in Baaya. Woqod aspires to expand its petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products and achieve the goal of providing customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort,”
“Woqod has recently accelerated the process for the construction of new petrol stations to meet the fuel and energy needs of the country. Woqod team would like to extend their gratitude to all concerned governmental and private entities that contributed to the completion of this project,” he added
Baaya Petrol Station is spread over an area of 7,400 square meters and has 4 lanes with 8 dispensers for light vehicles, which will serve Baaya area and their neighborhood.
Baaya Petrol Station offer round-the-clock services to residents, and include Sidra convenience store, in addition to sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles.
Al Muhannadi added that Woqod is currently overseeing the implementation of 15 new petrol stations, which most of them will be operational in the first quarter of year 2020.
The opening of Baaya Petrol Station yesterday follows opening of three new petrol stations on Wednesday.
Woqod, on Wednesday, announced opening of Al Sailiya -2 Petrol Station and expansion of Al Markhiya Petrol Station yesterday, in addition to opening two Mobile Petrol Stations at The Pearl-Qatar and South Al Aamriya.
Al Sailiya -2 Petrol Station is spread over an area of 10,000 square meters and has three lanes with nine dispensers for light vehicles, where Al Markhiya Petrol Station is spread after expansion over an area of 5300 square meters and has three lanes with three dispensers for light vehicles, additional to the existing four dispensers with four lanes, which will serve Al Sailiya & Al Markhiya respectively and their neighborhood.
Al Sailiya -2 Petrol Station offer round-the-clock services to residents, and include Sidra convenience store, manual car wash, oil change and tire repair, and sale of LPG cylinders “Shafaf”, in addition to sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles.

في إطار خطتها الاستراتيجية التي ترتكز على توسيع شبكة محطاتها وخدمة جميع مناطق الدولة، افتتحت قطر للوقود «وقود» محطة بعيا، وذلك يوم أمس الخميس، ليصل عدد محطاتها الإجمالي إلى 97 محطة ثابتة ومتنقلة. وبهذه المناسبة، صرح السيد سعد راشد المهندي، الرئيس التنفيذي والعضو المنتدب للشركة، قائلاً: «يسرنا افتتاح محطة بعيا، لتلبية احتياجات عملائنا الكرام في هذه المنطقة وما حولها»، مؤكداً أن افتتاح المحطة الجديدة من شأنه أن يترجم خطط وقود الطموحة في توسيع شبكة محطاتها وتسهيل الوصول إليها، كما يهدف إلى تلبية الطلب المتزايد على المنتجات البترولية في السوق المحلي، وضمان توفير منتجات وخدمات عالية الجودة لجميع العملاء في أنحاء الدولة، معرباً عن شكر الشركة وتقديرها لكل الجهات ذات العلاقة التي ساهمت وتساهم في إنجاز مشروعاتها الحيوية.
وتبلغ مساحة محطة بعيا 7400 متر مربع، وتحتوي المحطة على 4 خطوط تتضمن 8 مضخات لتعبئة الوقود، وذلك لخدمة مرتادي منطقة بعيا والمناطق المجاورة لها.
وتقدم محطة بعيا لعملائها خدمات على مدار الساعة، بما في ذلك متجر سدرة للمستلزمات اليومية، بالإضافة إلى توفير جميع أنواع المنتجات البترولية للمركبات الخفيفة.
وأضاف المهندي أن قطر للوقود تشرف حالياً على تنفيذ 15 محطة وقود جديدة، سيتم افتتاح معظمها في الربع الأول من العام 2020.
