Woqod opens 3 new petrol stations; Bringing the total number to 96

Qatar Fuel (Woqod) opened Al Sailiya -2 Petrol Station and expansion of Al Markhiya Petrol Station yesterday, in addition to opening two Mobile Petrol Stations at The Pearl-Qatar and South Al Aamriya. With opening of new stations, Woqod’s network of petrol stations has reached 96.
Woqod’s Managing Director & CEO, Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi, said: “We are pleased to open new fixed petrol station in A Sailiya and expansion of Petrol stations at Al Markhiya. WOQOD aspires to expand its petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products and achieve the goal of providing customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort. Woqod has recently accelerated the process for the construction of new petrol stations to meet the fuel and energy needs of the country. Woqod team would like to extend their gratitude to all concerned governmental and private entities that contributed to the completion of this project.”
Al Sailiya -2 Petrol Station is spread over an area of 10,000 square meters and has three lanes with nine dispensers for light vehicles, where Al Markhiya Petrol Station is spread after expansion over an area of 5300 square meters and has three lanes with three dispensers for light vehicles, additional to the existing four dispensers with four lanes, which will serve Al Sailiya & Al Markhiya respectively and their neighborhood.
Al Sailiya -2 Petrol Station offer round-the-clock services to residents, and include Sidra convenience store, manual car wash, oil change and tire repair, and sale of LPG cylinders “Shafaf”, in addition to sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles.

Al Muhannadi added that Woqod is currently overseeing the implementation of 16 new petrol stations, which most of them will be operational in the first quarter of year 2020.
أعلنت قطر للوقود “وقود” اليوم، أنها افتتحت محطة السيلية -2، بالإضافة إلى افتتاح محطتين متنقلتين جديدتين في منطقتي اللؤلؤة وجنوب العامرية، ليصل عدد محطاتها الإجمالي إلى 96 محطة ثابتة ومتنقلة، كما أنها قامت بافتتاح توسعة محطة وقود في منطقة المرخية.
وبهذه المناسبة، أعرب السيد سعد راشد المهندي الرئيس التنفيذي والعضو المنتدب للشركة، عن سعادته بافتتاح محطة السيلية -2 وتوسعة محطة وقود المرخية، معتبرا أن هذا الافتتاح يأتي لتلبية احتياجات عملاء /وقود/ في هاتين المنطقتين وما حولهما.
وأكد أن افتتاح المحطة الجديدة وهذه التوسعة من شأنه أن يترجم خطط /وقود/ الطموحة في توسيع شبكة محطاتها وتسهيل الوصول إليها، كما يهدف إلى تلبية الطلب المتزايد على المنتجات البترولية في السوق المحلية، وضمان توفير منتجات وخدمات عالية الجودة لجميع العملاء في أنحاء الدولة، معربا عن شكر الشركة وتقديرها لكل الجهات ذات العلاقة التي ساهمت وتساهم في إنجاز مشروعاتها الحيوية.
وأضاف المهندي أن قطر للوقود تشرف حاليا على تنفيذ 16 محطة وقود جديدة، سيتم افتتاح معظمها في الربع الأول من العام 2020.
وتبلغ مساحة محطة السيلية -2، 10000 متر مربع وتحتوي على 3 خطوط و9 مضخات لتعبئة الوقود، كما تبلغ مساحة محطة المرخية بعد التوسعة 5300 متر مربع، وتحتوي التوسعة على 3 خطوط تتضمن 3 مضخات لتعبئة الوقود إضافة إلى المحطة القائمة التي تحتوي على 4 مضخات على 4 خطوط، وذلك لخدمة مرتادي منطقتي السيلية والمرخية والمناطق المجاورة لهما.
