Woqod opens Al Khor Petrol Station
«وقود» تُدشّن محطة الخور
Qatar Fuel “Woqod” opened Al Khor Petrol Station yesterday, taking the total count of its total petrol stations to 94.
Woqod’s Managing Director & CEO, Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi, said: “We are pleased to open new fixed petrol station in Al Khor. Woqod aspires to expand its petrol stations network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products and achieve the goal of providing customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort.
Woqod has recently accelerated the process for the construction of new petrol stations to meet the fuel and energy needs of the country. Woqod team would like to extend their gratitude to all concerned governmental and private entities that contributed to the completion of this project.”
Al Khor Petrol Station is spread over an area of 15,000 square meters and has four lanes with 12 dispensers for light vehicles. The new Petrol Stations offer round-the-clock services to residents, and include Sidra convenience store, Manual Car Wash, Oil Change and Tire Repair, and sale of LPG cylinders “Shafaf”, in addition to sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles. Further, Al Muhannadi added that Woqod is currently overseeing the implementation of 18 new petrol stations, which most of them will be completed in the current year 2019. Al Muhannadi concluded his announcement by saying that “As part of its strategic expansion plan, Woqod is targeting the achievement of a total of 114 fuel stations by the end of 2020”.
أعلنت قطر للوقود «وقود»، عن افتتاحها أمس محطة جديدة في منطقة الخور، ليصل عدد محطاتها الإجمالي إلى 94 محطة ثابتة ومتنقلة.
وبهذه المناسبة، صرّح السيد سعد راشد المهندي الرئيس التنفيذي والعضو المنتدب للشركة، قائلاً: «يسرنا اليوم افتتاح محطة وقود الخور، لتلبية احتياجات عملائنا الكرام في تلك المنطقة وما حولها»، مؤكداً أن افتتاح هذه المحطة الجديدة من شأنه أن يترجم خطط وقود الطموحة في توسيع شبكة محطاتها وتسهيل الوصول إليها، كما يهدف إلى تلبية الطلب المتزايد على المنتجات البترولية في السوق المحلي، وضمان توفير منتجات وخدمات عالية الجودة لجميع العملاء في أنحاء الدولة، مشيراً إلى أن «وقود» قامت في الآونة الأخيرة بتسريع وتيرة أعمال بناء المحطات، لأجل تعزيز خدمة العملاء، معرباً عن شكر «وقود» وتقديرها لكل الجهات ذات العلاقة، التي ساهمت وتساهم في إنجاز مشروعاتها الحيوية.
وتبلغ مساحة محطة الخور 15000 متر مربع، وتحتوي على 4 خطوط تتضمن 12 مضخة لتعبئة الوقود، وتقدم المحطة لعملائها خدمات على مدار الساعة، بما في ذلك متجر سدرة للمستلزمات اليومية، وخدمات غسيل السيارات اليدوي، وتغيير الزيوت وإصلاح الإطارات، فضلاً عن مراكز توزيع اسطوانات الغاز «شفاف»، بالإضافة إلى توفير جميع أنواع المنتجات البترولية للمركبات الخفيفة.
وأضاف المهندي أن قطر للوقود تشرف حالياً على تنفيذ 18 محطة وقود جديدة، سيتم الانتهاء من معظمها في العام الحالي، وفي ختام تصريحه، أوضح المهندي أن لقطر للوقود خطة استراتيجية تهدف إلى زيادة العدد الإجمالي للمحطات العاملة إلى 114 محطة ثابتة ومتنقلة مع نهاية عام 2020.
