Partial closure on One Direction of Abdul Aziz bin Ahmed Street
إغلاق جزئي باتجاه واحد على شارع عبد العزيز بن أحمد
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a partial closure of Abdul Aziz bin Ahmed Street in one direction from Wadi Mushaireb Street towards Electricity Temporary Roundabout (formerly known as Naser bin Khaled Intersection). In coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, this change will be implemented on Friday 8 November 2019 for a period of 3 months, and aims to enable expansion and upgrading works on Electricity Intersection and installation of new traffic lights as part of the A-Ring Road Development Project.
During this time, road users of Abdul Aziz bin Ahmed Street wishing to head towards Electricity temporary roundabout will be required to use Al Diwan Street and Al Asmakh Street to reach their desired destinations, as shown in the above map.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن تنفيذ إغلاق جزئي على شارع عبد العزيز بن أحمد في اتجاه واحد من شارع وادي مشيرب نحو الدوار المؤقت بتقاطع الكهرباء (المعروف سابقاً بتقاطع ناصر بن خالد)، وبالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور، سيبدأ هذا التغيير المروري اعتباراً من يوم الجمعة 8 نوفمبر 2019 ولمدة 3 أشهر، وذلك بهدف إتاحة المجال لتنفيذ أعمال توسعة وتطوير تقاطع الكهرباء وتركيب إشارات ضوئية جديدة، ضمن مشروع تطوير الطريق الدائري الأول.
وخلال هذه الفترة، يستطيع مستخدمو شارع عبد العزيز بن أحمد المتجهين نحو دوّار الكهرباء المؤقت استخدام كلاًّ من شارع الديوان وشارع الأصمخ للوصول إلى وجهاتهم، كما هو موضح في الخريطة أعلاه.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التغيير المروري المؤقت، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
