Conversion of Al Mirqab Al Jadeed St into a temporary roundabout
تحويل تقاطع شارع المرقاب الجديد إلى دوار مؤقت
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces the conversion of the intersection of Al Mirqab Al Jadeed Street with Mohammed bin Qasim Street into a temporary two-lane-roundabout, while keeping the same number of lanes available on Al Mirqab Al Jadeed Street, starting from Monday 11 November 2019 for a period of 2 months, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
This change will be implemented on to enable upgrading works on the intersection and installation of new traffic lights, as part of Improvement of Main Roads in Al Nasr Area Project.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن تحويل تقاطع شارع المرقاب الجديد مع شارع محمد بن القاسم إلى دوار مؤقت يتألف من مسارين، مع الإبقاء على نفس عدد المسارات بشارع المرقاب الجديد، وذلك اعتباراً من يوم الاثنين 11 نوفمبر 2019 ولمدة شهرين، وبالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور.
يهدف هذا التغيير المروري إلى إتاحة المجال أمام تنفيذ أعمال توسعة وتطوير التقاطع وتركيب إشارات ضوئية جديدة، وذلك ضمن مشروع التطوير المرحلي للطرق الرئيسية بمنطقة النصر.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التغيير المروري المؤقت، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
