Two Arab Countries Announce Wednesday as the first day of Ramadan

Doha: Morocco’s Ministry of Religious Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced Monday evening that Wednesday is the first day of the holy month of Ramadan in Morocco.
Morocco’s Ministry of Religious Endowments and Islamic Affairs stated on its website that they tried to sight the lunar crescent of the holy month of Ramadan in 1442 after sunset on Monday 29th of Shaaban 1442 H according to the Moroccan calendar on April 12, 2021 and contacted all representatives of Islamic affairs in the Kingdom, and all the units of the Royal Armed Forces contributing to the monitoring of the lunar crescent and all assured the non-sighting of The Ramadan crescent and therefore the start of the holy month of Ramadan is on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
Oman’s Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs announced yesterday that the lunar crescent of the holy month of Ramadan had not been sighted on Monday evening, April 12, 2021, and that tomorrow, Wednesday, April 14, 2021, is the first day of the holy month.

الدوحة: أعلنت وزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية المغربية مساء يوم الإثنين أن الأربعاء هو أول أيام شهر رمضان المبارك في المغرب.
وقالت في بيان لها عبر موقعها الإلكتروني إنها راقبت هلال شهر رمضان المعظم لعام 1442 بعد مغرب اليوم الإثنين 29 شعبان 1442هـ بحسب التقويم المغربي الموافق 12 أبريل 2021 واتصلت بجميع مندوبي الشؤون الإسلامية بالمملكة، وبوحدات القوات المسلحة الملكية المساهمة في مراقبة الهلال فأكدوا لها جميعاً عدم ثبوت رؤيته وعليه فإن غُرة شهر رمضان المعظم هو يوم الأربعاء 14 أبريل 2021م
وأعلنت وزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية بسلطنة عمان، يوم أمس، عدم ثبوت رؤية هلال شهر رمضان المبارك، مساء الإثنين 12 أبريل 2021، وأن بعد غد الأربعاء 14 أبريل 2021 غرّة الشهر الفضيل.
