Woqod opens Al Wajba-2 Petrol Station
“وقود” تُدشّن محطة وقود الوجبة -2
As part of Woqod’s ongoing expansion plans aimed at serving every area in Qatar, Qatar Fuel Woqod opened Al Wajba -2 Petrol Station yesterday, which raised its network of various petrol stations to 90.
Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi, Managing Director & CEO, Woqod, said: “We are pleased to open new fixed petrol station in Al Wajba. Woqod aspires to expand its petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products and achieve the goal of providing customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort. Woqod has recently accelerated the process for the construction of new petrol stations to meet the fuel and energy needs of the country. Woqod team would like to extend their gratitude to all concerned governmental and private entities that contributed to the completion of this project.”
Al Wajba -2 Petrol Station is spread over an area of 11300 square meters and has four lanes with 12 dispensers.
The new Petrol Stations offer round-the-clock services to residents, in addition to sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles.
Further, Al Muhannadi added that Woqod is currently overseeing the implementation of 21 new petrol stations, which most of them will be operational in the current year 2019. Al Muhannadi concluded his announcement by saying that “As part of its strategic expansion plan, Woqod is targeting the achievement of a total of 114 fuel stations by the end of 2020”.
في إطار خطتها الاستراتيجية التي ترتكز على توسيع شبكة محطاتها وخدمة جميع مناطق الدولة، افتتحت قطر للوقود “وقود” محطة جديدة في منطقة الوجبة، وذلك يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 08/10/2019، ليصل عدد محطاتها الإجمالي إلى 90 محطة ثابتة ومتنقلة.
وبهذه المناسبة، صرح السيد سعد راشد المهندي، الرئيس التنفيذي والعضو المنتدب للشركة، قائلاً “يسرنا اليوم افتتاح محطة وقود الوجبة -2، لتلبية احتياجات عملائنا الكرام في تلك المنطقة وما حولها”، مؤكدا بأن افتتاح هذه المحطة الجديدة من شأنه أن يترجم خطط وقود الطموحة في توسيع شبكة محطاتها وتسهيل الوصول إليها، كما يهدف إلى تلبية الطلب المتزايد على المنتجات البترولية في السوق المحلية، وضمان توفير منتجات وخدمات عالية الجودة لجميع العملاء في أنحاء الدولة، مشيرا إلى أن وقود قامت في الآونة الأخيرة بتسريع وتيرة أعمال بناء المحطات لأجل تعزيز خدمة العملاء، معربا عن شكر وقود وتقديرها لكل الجهات ذات العلاقة التي ساهمت وتساهم في إنجاز مشروعاتها الحيوية.
وتبلغ مساحة محطة الوجبة -2 الجديدة 11300 متراً مربعاً، وتحتوي على 4 خطوط تتضمن 12 مضخة لتعبئة الوقود.
وتقدم المحطة لعملائها خدمات على مدار الساعة، بالإضافة الى توفير جميع أنواع المنتجات البترولية للمركبات الخفيفة.
وأضاف المهندي بأن قطر للوقود تشرف حاليا على تنفيذ 12 محطة وقود جديدة، سيتم افتتاح معظمها في العام الجاري 2019.
وفي ختام تصريحه أوضح المهندي بأن لقطر للوقود خطة استراتيجية تهدف إلى زيادة العدد الإجمالي للمحطات العاملة إلى 114 محطة ثابتة ومتنقلة بحلول عام 2020.
