Temporary Closure on Al Corniche Street and Mohammed Bin Thani Street

The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces temporary closure of some lanes on Al Corniche Street and Mohammed Bin Thani Street starting Tuesday 15 October 2019 evening until 7 November 2019. In coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, the closure will be implemented as follows:

• 150-meter-closure of one left turn lane at Qatar National Theater Intersection in the direction from Al Corniche Street towards Mohammed Bin Thani Street.
• 200-meter-closure of one left turn lane at Wadi Al Sail Intersection in the direction from Mohammed Bin Thani Street towards Al Bidda street.
• 100-meter-closure of the right lane at Wadi Al Sail Intersection on Al Bidda Street in the direction towards Amiri Diwan.

This closure, part of the project of upgrade of junctions & roundabouts in Doha, aims to facilitate the connection of the new irrigation network to the old one in the mentioned areas.

The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of this temporary closure. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety

تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن تنفيذ إغلاق مؤقت لبعض المسارات المرورية بشارع الكورنيش وشارع محمد بن ثاني، اعتباراً من مساء يوم الثلاثاء 15 أكتوبر 2019 وحتى 7 نوفمبر 2019، وذلك بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور. وسيتم تنفيذ الإغلاق على الشكل التالي:

• إغلاق 150 متر من أحد المسارات المخصصة للانعطاف يساراً عند تقاطع مسرح قطر الوطني والمتجهة من شارع الكورنيش إلى شارع محمد بن ثاني.
• إغلاق 200 متر من أحد المسارات المخصصة للانعطاف يساراً عند تقاطع وادي السيل والمتجهة من شارع محمد بن ثاني إلى شارع البدع.
• إغلاق حوالي 100 متر عند تقاطع وادي السيل، في المسار الأيمن لشارع البدع بالاتجاه من منطقة الأبراج إلى الديوان الأميري.

يهدف الإغلاق الى إكمال أعمال ربط شبكة الري الجديدة مع الشبكة القديمة في المناطق المذكورة، وذلك ضمن مشروع تطوير الدوارات والتقاطعات بمناطق مختلفة من الدوحة.
