GAC participates in GCC Customs Union meeting
قطر تشارك في اجتماع هيئة الاتحاد الجمركي الخليجي
The General Authority of Customs (GAC) participated in the 22nd meeting of the GCC Customs Union, which was held in Riyadh for two days, with a delegation headed by Chairman of the General Authority of Customs H E Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Jamal.
The meeting discussed several issues, most notably the follow-up to the implementation of the decision of the Supreme Council in its seventeenth consultation meeting on the completion of the requirements of the Customs Union, the report of the Secretariat on direct automatic transfer of customs duties, and the results of the meeting (20) of the Commission on the automatic transfer of customs duties, in addition to the developments of the study of the treatment of products factories established in economic gatherings in the GCC countries with Gulf investments.
The meeting also discussed the minutes of the 36th meeting of the committee in charge of reviewing the implementation of the Unified Customs Law of the GCC countries, the minutes of the 50th meeting of the Harmonised System Committee and the minutes of the first meeting of the technical team tasked with reviewing the lists of miscellaneous and restricted goods.
On the other hand, a joint meeting was held between the GCC Standing Committee for Combating Harmful Practices in International Trade and the Customs Union Committee.
شاركت الهيئة العامة للجمارك في الاجتماع الـ 22 لهيئة الاتحاد الجمركي لدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، والذي عقد في الرياض على مدار يومين، بوفد ترأسه سعادة السيد أحمد بن عبدالله الجمال رئيس الهيئة.
وناقش الاجتماع العديد من الموضوعات أبرزها متابعة تنفيذ قرار المجلس الأعلى في لقائه التشاوري السابع عشر بشأن استكمال متطلبات الاتحاد الجمركي، وتقرير الأمانة العامة بشأن التحويل الآلي المباشر للرسوم الجمركية، ونتائج الاجتماع (20) للجنة التحويل الآلي المباشر للرسوم الجمركية، بالإضافة إلى مستجدات دراسة معاملة منتجات المصانع المقامة في التجمعات الاقتصادية بدول المجلس باستثمارات خليجية.
كما ناقش محضر الاجتماع (36) للجنة المكلفة بمراجعة تطبيق النظام “القانون” الجمركي الموحد لدول مجلس التعاون ومحضر الاجتماع (50) للجنة النظام المنسق ومحضر الاجتماع الأول للفريق الفني المكلف بمراجعة قوائم السلع المنوعة والمقيدة.
ومن جانب آخر عقد الاجتماع المشترك بين اللجنة الدائمة لمكافحة الممارسات الضارة في التجارة الدولية لدول مجلس التعاون وهيئة الاتحاد الجمركي، كما تم عقد اللقاء المشترك الخامس بين هيئة الاتحاد الجمركي والقطاع الخاص والذي ناقش عدة موضوعات أبرزها التزامات المستوردين والمصدرين، وآليات انتقال الإرساليات والتأكيد على تقديم الوثائق وإنشاء البيانات الجمركية مسبقا للإرساليات، والتشديد على المواصفات القياسية المتبعة لعمليات الفسح والإفراج الجمركي.
