Temporary Closure on some lanes of Al Corniche Street and Al Rumaila Area for One Month
إغلاق مؤقت لبعض المسارات المرورية بشارع الكورنيش ومنطقة الرميلة لمدة شهر
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ will implement a temporary closure on some lanes of Al Corniche Street and Al Rumaila Area, starting the evening of 4 April 2019 for one month in coordination with the General Directorate of traffic. The closure aims to complete connecting the new Treated Sewage Effluent line with the old one as part of the improvement works for roundabouts and junctions in various areas of Greater Doha.
150 metres will be closed from one of the lanes dedicated for the left turn at the Qatar National Theatre Intersection heading from Al Corniche Street to Mohammed Bin Thani Street.
Also, 300 meters of the left lane of Al Bidda Street (known as Majliss Al Taawon Street) will be closed, this is located directly after Wadi Al Sail Intersection towards Al Diwan Al Amiri.
In addition, 200 meters will be closed from one of the lanes turning left at Wadi Al Sail Intersection, from Mohammed Bin Thani Street to Al Bidda Street. As shown in the attached map.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the closure. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit (50 km/hour), and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن تنفيذ إغلاق مؤقت لبعض المسارات المرورية بشارع الكورنيش ومنطقة الرميلة، اعتباراً من مساء يوم الخميس الموافق 4 أبريل 2019 ولمدة شهر واحد، وذلك بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور. ويهدف الإغلاق الى إكمال أعمال ربط شبكة الري الجديدة مع الشبكة القديمة في المناطق المذكورة وذلك ضمن أعمال مشروع تطوير الدوارات والتقاطعات بمناطق مختلفة من الدوحة.
سيتم إغلاق 150 متر من أحد المسارات المخصصة للانعطاف يساراً عند تقاطع مسرح قطر الوطني والمتجهة من شارع الكورنيش إلى شارع محمد بن ثاني.
كما سيتم إغلاق 300 متر من المسار الأيسر من شارع البدع (المعروف بشارع مجلس التعاون) بعد تقاطع وادي السيل مباشرة باتجاه الديوان الأميري.
أيضاً سيتم إغلاق 200 متر من أحد المسارات المخصصة للانعطاف يساراً عند تقاطع وادي السيل والمتجهة من شارع محمد بن ثاني إلى شارع البدع. كما هو موضح بالخريطة المرفقة.
ستقوم “أشغال” بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا الإغلاق المؤقت، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة ٥۰ كيلومتر في الساعة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
