Sporadic rain and thunderstorms in parts of Qatar

Doha: Sporadic and thunderous rains have been reported in some areas especially the southern part of Qatar, said a tweet by Qatar Meteorology Department, adding that the maritime warning continues as the department expects thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, in its daily report, the department has said that the weather inshore until 6 pm on Wednesday will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times with chance of scattered rain at some places maybe thundery at times.

Wind inshore will be northwesterly to northeasterly 07 to 17 knot gusting 25 knot at some places with thunder activity.

Visibility will be 4 to 08 kilometers.

Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet, rises to 5 feet at some places with thunder rain. Offshore, it will be 2 to 4 feet, rises to 10 feet at some places with thunder rain.

حذرت إدارة الأرصاد الجوية من أمطار رعدية متوقعة على بعض مناطق الساحل، ومن أمطار رعدية تصاحبها رياح قوية مع أمواج عالية في عرض البحر.. وتوقعت أن يكون الطقس حتى الساعة السادسة من مساء اليوم غائما جزئيا إلى غائم، مع فرصة لأمطار متفرقة على بعض المناطق قد تكون رعدية أحيانا على الساحل.. وفي البحر يكون الطقس غائما جزئيا إلى غائم، مع فرصة لأمطار متفرقة قد تكون رعدية أحيانا.

وتكون الرياح على الساحل شمالية غربية إلى شمالية شرقية بسرعة تتراوح بين 7 و17 عقدة، مع هبات تصل إلى 25 عقدة على بعض المناطق مع الأمطار الرعدية.. وفي البحر تكون الرياح شمالية غربية إلى شمالية شرقية بسرعة تتراوح بين 5 و 15 عقدة، مع هبات تصل إلى 34 عقدة على بعض المناطق مع الأمطار الرعدية.

ويتراوح مدى الرؤية الأفقية بين 4 و 8 كيلومترات، ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج على الساحل بين قدم واحدة وثلاث أقدام ويرتفع إلى خمس أقدام على بعض المناطق مع الأمطار الرعدية.. وبين قدمين اثنتين وأربع أقدام ويرتفع إلى عشر أقدام على بعض المناطق مع الأمطار الرعدية.

وأقصى درجة حرارة متوقعة في الدوحة 27 درجة مئوية، وتغرب الشمس بحول الله تعالى، في الساعة الخامسة و 51 دقيقة.
