Diversion on Lusail Expressway 5/6 Interchange
تحويل مروري بتقاطع 5/6 على طريق لوسيل السريع
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’, announces a temporary closure on Lusail Expressway 5/6 Interchange for traffic heading from Corniche to Onaiza Street, starting Saturday, 13 April until 31 October 2019, to enable the construction of Al Wahda pumping station.
During this traffic change which is designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, road users can follow the below directions as shown on the attached map .
Road users coming from Corniche and heading towards Onaiza Street will be required to continue straight onto Omar Al Mukhtar Street to reach the signalized intersection on Al Jamiaa Street, where they can make a U-turn and head back towards 5/6 Interchange and use the right exit onto Onaiza Street.
For traffic heading from Lusail towards Corniche through 5/6 Interchange, the number of available lanes will be reduced from three to one lane, while the number of lanes for traffic heading from Omar Al Mukhtar Street towards Corniche will be reduced from four to two lanes.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic shift and requests all road users to abide by the speed limit which will be reduced to 60 kph to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن إغلاق بتقاطع 5/6 على طريق لوسيل السريع، للحركة المرورية القادمة من الكورنيش باتجاه شارع عنيزة، ابتداءً من يوم السبت 13 أبريل حتى 31 أكتوبر 2019، بهدف استكمال الأعمال الإنشائية لمحطة الضخ في منطقة الوحدة.
وخلال فترة التحويل المروري الذي يأتي بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور، سيتم تحويل الحركة المرورية للمتجهين إلى شارع عنيزة عبر تقاطع 5/6 وفقاً للإرشادات التالية كما يظهر بالخريطة المرفقة.
حيث يتعين على القادمين من الكورنيش باتجاه شارع عنيزة متابعة سيرهم باتجاه شارع عمر المختار وصولاً إلى شارع الجامعة والدوران إلى الخلف عبر الإشارات الضوئية للرجوع إلى تقاطع 5/6 والانعطاف يميناً باتجاه شارع عنيزة.
بالنسبة للقادمين من لوسيل باتجاه الكورنيش عبر تقاطع 5/6 سيتم خفض عدد المسارات المتاحة من ثلاثة مسارات إلى مسار واحد، وبالنسبة للقادمين من شارع عمر المختار باتجاه الكورنيش فإنه سيتم خفض عدد المسارات المتاحة من أربعة مسارات الى مسارين
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التغيير المروري، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموح بها عند 60 كيلومتر في الساعة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
