Partial Shift of Traffic on Al Mirqab Al Jadeed Street for 1 Month
تحويل مروري جزئي بشارع المرقاب الجديد لمدة شهر
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a partial shift of traffic on Al Mirqab Al Jadeed Street between Mohammed Bin Al Qasim Junction to Zaid Al Khail Junction (in front of Al Mirqab Mall), starting Wednesday, 27 March 2019 for one month in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
During this Period, traffic heading towards Fereej Bin Mahmood will be shifted to a parallel road with one lane each direction. Temporary parking will be provided on the opposite side of Al Mirqab Al Jadeed Street as well as temporary safe pedestrian crossings, as shown in the map.
The diversion comes as part of Interim Improvement of Main Roads in Al Nasr Area Project, which aims to improve traffic movement, reduce congestion and provide additional parking bays in the area.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic shift. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن تنفيذ تحويل مروري جزئي بشارع المرقاب الجديد ما بين تقاطع محمد بن القاسم وتقاطع زيد الخيل (أمام المرقاب مول) اعتباراً من يوم الأربعاء الموافق 27 مارس 2019 ولمدة شهر واحد، وذلك بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور.
خلال هذه الفترة، سيتم نقل حركة المرور المتجهة إلى بن محمود إلى طريق مواز يتألف من مسار واحد في كل اتجاه. وسيتم توفير مواقف مؤقتة للسيارات على الجانب الآخر من شارع المرقاب الجديد وكذلك معابر آمنة للمشاة، كما هو موضح في الخريطة.
يأتي هذا التحويل المروري ضمن أعمال مشروع التطوير المرحلي للطرق الرئيسية بمنطقة النصر والذي يهدف إلى تعزيز الحركة المرورية وتقليل الازدحام وزيادة عدد مواقف السيارات في المنطقة.
وستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التغيير المروري، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
