Chief of Staff attends US Central Command meeting
رئيس الأركان يحضر اجتماع القيادة الوسطى الأميركية
HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem took part in the meeting of Central Command, Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) states, Jordan and Egypt, which was held in Tampa, Florida, US at the invitation of Commander of United States Central Command General Joseph Votel. The meeting discussed counter-terrorism efforts. The Chief of Staff also held a meeting with General Votel, to discuss the military ties between the two countries and means to further boost and promote them.
بناء على الدعوة الموجهة من الفريق جوزيف فوتيل قائد القيادة المركزية الوسطى الأميركية، حضر سعادة الفريق الركن -طيار- غانم بن شاهين الغانم رئيس أركان القوات المسلحة القطرية، اجتماع القيادة الوسطى ودول مجلس التعاون الخليجي ومصر والأردن في مدينة تامبا بولاية فلوريدا، تم أثناء الاجتماع مناقشة الجهود المبذولة لمحاربة الإرهاب.
كما عقد سعادته اجتماعاً ثنائياً مع الفريق جوزيف فوتيل قائد القيادة الوسطى، جرى خلاله مناقشة العلاقات العسكرية الوثيقة بين البلدين الصديقين، وسبل تعزيزها وتطويرها.
