Temporary Diversion of Al Majd Road Truck Lanes at Bu Al Yawabi Interchange
تحويل مروري مؤقت لمسار الشاحنات على طريق المجد عند تقاطع بو اليوابي
The Public Works Authority, ‘Ashghal’, has announced the implementation of a temporary diversion of the northbound truck lanes on Al Majd Road at Bu Al Yawabi Interchange (Exit 27).
The diversion which is required to facilitate the installation of a Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) network has been designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic and will be in place for one (1) month starting Tuesday, 26 February 2019.
During this period, truck traffic heading northbound on Al Majd Road will be required to exit at Bu Al Yawabi Interchange towards Al Bahiya Interchange. At this interchange, they will need to make a U-turn heading back to Bu Al Yawabi Interchange and follow signs to exit towards Salwa Road heading northbound, as shown in the attached map.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic change and request all road users to abide by the speed limit which remains at 80 kph along the diverted route, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تنفذ هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” تحويلاً مرورياً مؤقتاً لمسار الشاحنات باتجاه الشمال على طريق المجد عند تقاطع بو اليوابي (مخرج 27).
ويتم تنفيذ التحويل المروري لاستكمال أعمال تركيب شبكة مياه الصرف الصحي المعالجة وذلك بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور، لمدة شهر واحد فقط، اعتباراً من يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 26 فبراير 2019.
وخلال فترة التحويل المروري، سيتم تحويل الحركة المرورية لمسار طريق المجد للشاحنات المتجه شمالاً باتجاه تقاطع الباهية، حيث يستطيع رواد الطريق الدوران إلى الخلف عبر هذا التقاطع والرجوع إلى تقاطع بو اليوابي ثم الانعطاف إلى اليمين حسب اللوحات الإرشادية والاتجاه شمالاً إلى طريق سلوى، كما هو مبين بالخريطة المرفقة.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التغيير المروري، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة في الطريق البديلة عند 80 كيلومتر في الساعة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
