Shura Council Speaker meets US Congress delegation

The Speaker of the Shura Council, H E Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud met yesterday with a delegation of senior officials from the US Congress. During the meeting they discussed parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the US Congress and ways to boost and develop them. In addition, they reviewed a number of topics of common interest. The meeting was attended by a number of Shura Council officials.

اجتمع سعادة السيد أحمد بن عبدالله بن زيد آل محمود رئيس مجلس الشورى، أمس، مع وفد من كبار موظفي الكونجرس الأميركي.

جرى خلال الاجتماع بحث العلاقات البرلمانية بين مجلس الشورى والكونجرس الأميركي، وسبل دعمها وتطويرها، إلى جانب استعراض عدد من الموضوعات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.

حضر الاجتماع عدد من المسؤولين بمجلس الشورى.;
