MoI wins awards for smart security devices
قطر تحصد الميدالية الذهبية في الأنظمة الأمنية بمعرض الاختراعات بالكويت
Doha: The Ministry of Interior has won top places and gold medal in the field of security innovations at the 11th International Inventions Exhibition in the Middle East held in Kuwait.
The MoI participated with four innovative devices, which include a Smart Security Investigator; Security Robot; Automatic Detector for Explosives and Drugs; and Smart Vest.
“Smart the Security Investigator won the Grand Prize (the 11th International Invention Exhibition of the Middle East Cup) and won the first place in the Geneva International Invention Exhibition. It is an innovation that more accurate in detecting contraband and giving indications of suspicious passengers, thus enhancing the efficiency of operating the country’s ports without affecting the capacity of the movement of the departures and arrivals,” said Eng Major Ali Hassan Al Rashed.
Al Rashed added during a press conference held yesterday at the Civil Defense Officers’ Club that the Smart Detector contributes to enhancing security within Hamad International Airport and other ports of the state, to uncover the prohibited things and facilitate the work of airport security personnel in securing this vital facility.
He explained that a natural person has feelings that come directly from the brain through certain signals and he cannot control them. “The pupil of the eye also expands and tightens without human control. Usually, there are certain signs of the abnormal person so that the temperature of his body is different as well as signs related to the eye.”
“We have been able to develop a specific system to reveal suspected people according to brain indicators, through the signals sent by the brain to the eye,” he said, adding that it will provide specific information through which we can know the person’s status, whether he is suspected or that he has used a prohibited substance or otherwise.
The second device is the smart security robot that can detect suspects at the airport and identify the faces of those wanted through fingerprint. It also helps for detection of weapons and explosives and the detection of counterfeit currency and fake credit cards.
Major Al Rashed pointed out that the device is a security robot on a three-wheeled scooter driven by a security man inside the airport.
Thermal cameras, sensors, computer monitors and other technical devices are installed on the device, which scans documents, identity papers, currencies and credit cards. The device recognises suspicious people by measuring the heartbeat if it exceeds the normal limit giving a signal to the security man.
The third device is the automatic explosive and drug detectors, which is more accurate in the identification of drugs, weapons and explosives. It enhances the efficiency of operation within the ports of the state where the device identifies explosives and drugs of all kinds through a three-dimensional technique.
Major Al Rashed added that the device could detect all the components of the bags, including dark corners, and in the case of entering any bag carrying narcotics or explosive materials, even in very small quantities or some weapons.
The fourth invention, which won the Gold Medal, was a ‘smart jacket’ that cools the body of the worker working in the external hot sites. This jacket features an intelligent system that measures the body’s vital signals, such as heart impulses and breathing times, and draws its energy through a solar cell fitted with a jacket.
Once the worker’s condition exceeds or decreases the normal rates of any number of heartbeats or breathing times, the jacket sends warning messages via a small computer to the administrator in the control room. It can also reveal whether the worker is stuck on the ground. In light of the indications given, medics help him.
The International Labor Organization (ILO) praised the invention at the annual conference held in Geneva. The organisation called on all countries with hot weather in the world to apply this invention from the State of Qatar, making Qatar the leading nation in preserving labour rights and human rights.
About the price of the smart jacket and if it available in the market for workers, Al Rashed noted that a company provides the smart jacket at Salwa road and its prices is about QR300.

حصدت دولة قطر المركز الأول والميدالية الذهبية في مجال الأنظمة الأمنية في المعرض الدولي الحادي عشر للاختراعات في الشرق الأوسط بدولة الكويت، والذي شاركت فيه وزارة الداخلية بأربعة براءات اختراع؛ هي: (المحقق الذكي، والروبوت الأمني، وجهاز كاشف المتفجرات والمخدرات التلقائي، والسترة الذكية). وقد تسلّم الجائزة الرائد مهندس علي حسن الراشد قائد وحدة التقنية الأمنية بقوة لخويا.
وأكد الرائد مهندس علي حسن الراشد، خلال المؤتمر الصحافي الذي عُقد صباح أمس/ أن وزارة الداخلية شاركت في المعرض الدولي الحادي عشر للاختراعات في الشرق الأوسط، والذي احتضنته دولة الكويت على مدى 4 أيام بأربعة اختراعات؛ الأول هو جهاز تقنية المحقق الذكي الذي فاز بالجائزة الكبرى (كأس المعرض الدولي الحادي عشر للاختراعات في الشرق الأوسط)، والذي فاز أيضاً في معرض جنيف الدولي للاختراعات بالمركز الأول، وهو ابتكار نجحت وزارة الداخلية في تطويره ليكون أكثر دقة في الكشف عن الممنوعات وإعطاء مؤشرات عن المسافرين المشتبه بهم، مما يعزز من كفاءة التشغيل داخل منافذ الدولة دون التأثير على الطاقة الاستيعابية لحركة المغادرين والقادمين».
وأضاف أن المحقق الذكي يساهم في تعزيز الأمن داخل مطار حمد الدولي ومنافذ الدولة الأخرى، والكشف عن الممنوعات وتسهيل عمل رجال أمن المطار في تأمين هذا المرفق الحيوي.
وأشار إلى أن هذا الابتكار يتميز بكونه أكثر دقة في الكشف عن الممنوعات، بالإضافة إلى تحديد المواد المخدرة بأنواعها كافة، بعد تطويره بتقنية عالية؛ موضحاً أن الشخص الطبيعي لديه مشاعر وأحاسيس تأتي مباشرة من الدماغ عن طريق إشارات معينة ولا يستطيع التحكم بها، كذلك بؤبؤ العين يتسع ويضيق دون تحكم الإنسان به، وعادة هناك علامات معينة للشخص غير الطبيعي، بحيث تكون درجة حرارة جسمه مختلفة، وكذلك علامات لها علاقة بالعين، ومن هذه المعطيات تمكّنا من وضع خوارزمية محددة تكشف عن الأشخاص المشتبه بهم حسب مؤشرات الدماغ، وذلك من خلال الإشارات التي يرسلها الدماغ للعين، بالإضافة لحرارة الجسم ومن خلال خوارزمية تتوافق مع المنظومة التقنية في الجهاز تقدم معطيات محددة نستطيع من خلالها معرفة حالة الشخص وما إذا كان موضع شبهة أو قد تعاطى مادة محظورة أو غيره.
روبوت أمني متحرك على دراجة بـ 3 إطارات
الجهاز الثاني هو جهاز الروبوت الأمني الذكي، والذي حصلت من خلاله دولة قطر على الجائزة الكبرى (كأس المعرض الدولي الحادي عشر للاختراعات في الشرق الأوسط) والميدالية الذهبية، وهو جهاز يعمل على كشف الأشخاص المشتبه بهم داخل المطار، والتعرف على وجوه المطلوبين أمنياً من خلال بصمة اليد، وكذلك الكشف عن الأسلحة والمتفجرات وكشف العملات المزيفة والبطاقات الائتمانية المزورة.
وأشار الرائد علي الراشد إلى أن الجهاز عبارة عن روبوت أمني متحرك على دراجة بـ 3 إطارات (اسكوتر) ويقوده رجل أمن داخل المطار، ومثبّت على الجهاز كاميرات حرارية وحساسات وشاشة عرض كمبيوتر، بالإضافة إلى أجهزة تقنية أخرى تفحص المستندات وأوراق الهوية الشخصية والعملات والبطاقات الائتمانية، ويتعرف الجهاز على الأشخاص المشتبه بهم من خلال قياس نبضات القلب، فإذا كانت تتجاوز الحد الطبيعي يعطي إشارة لرجل الأمن.
إشادة منظمة العمل الدولية بجهاز السترة الذكية
كان الاختراع الرابع -والذي حصل على الميدالية الذهبية- عبارة عن «سترة ذكية»، تعمل على تبريد جسم العامل أو الموظف الذي يعمل بالمناطق الحارة الخارجية. تتميز هذه السترة بوجود نظام ذكي، يقيس الإشارات الحيوية للجسم كنبضات القلب وعدد مرات التنفس، ويستمد طاقته من خلال خلية شمسية مثبّتة بالسترة، وهو ما يعطي تصوراً عن حالة العامل الصحية. وقد حظي هذا الاختراع بإشادة منظمة العمل الدولية خلال المؤتمر الرسمي الذي يُقام سنوياً في جنيف، وعممت المنظمة على جميع الدول ذات الطقس الحار في العالم بتطبيق هذا الاختراع من دولة قطر، وهو ما جعل اسم قطر في صدارة الدول الراعية لحقوق العمال وحقوق الإنسان، كما يُعدّ من مميزات هذا الاختراع أنه يعمل في جميع الأماكن، سواء المفتوحة أو المغلقة وما تحت الأرض، عن طريق بطارية تعمل لمدة 12 ساعة مطابقة للمواصفات والمعايير.
جهاز كاشف المتفجرات والمخدرات التلقائي
الجهاز الثالث هو جهاز كاشف المتفجرات والمخدرات التلقائي، والذي حققت فيه دولة قطر المركز الثاني (الميدالية الفضية)، ويُعدّ الجهاز أكثر دقة في تحديد المخدرات والأسلحة والمتفجرات؛ مما يعزز من كفاءة التشغيل داخل منافذ الدولة، حيث يقوم الجهاز بتحديد المتفجرات والمواد المخدرة بأنواعها كافة، من خلال تقنية ثلاثية الأبعاد.
وأكد الرائد مهندس علي حسن الراشد، أن الجهاز يمكنه كشف جميع مكونات الحقائب، بما في ذلك الزوايا المعتمة. وفي حال دخول أي حقيبة تحمل مواد مخدرة أو مواد متفجرة ولو بكميات قليلة جداً أو بعض الأسلحة، يتم كشفها من خلال استخدام مصدر أحادي الأشعة يعطي إشارة بلون محدد إذا كانت الحقيبة بها مواد مخدرة وبلون آخر إذا كان بها مواد متفجرة، حيث يقوم بتلوين المادة بلون محدد ليسهل على رجال أمن المطار معرفة نوع وماهية الأشياء الممنوعة داخل الحقيبة قبل فتحها.
والجهاز يوفر سهولة في الإجراءات الزمنية تمتاز بالسرعة في إنجاز إجراءات سفر الركاب والدقة في التعامل الآلي لفحص الحقائب أوتوماتيكياً لكشف أية ممنوعات.;
