Partial Opening of Al Manaseer Intersection and Removal of the Temporary Roundabout
افتتاح جزئي لتقاطع المناصير وإزالة الدوار المؤقت
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces the partial opening of Al Manaseer Intersection to traffic after the removal of the temporary roundabout, as shown in the attached map. The opening will take place on Friday 7 December 2018, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
Ashghal recently converted the intersection into a temporary signal-controlled roundabout to enable expansion works on Al Manaseer Intersection to accommodate the current and future traffic, through constructing additional lanes. Once fully completed, the intersection will consist of four main lanes, three lanes to turn left, and one dedicated U-turn lane on Al Forousiya Street. This is in addition to constructing a new surface water network and other infrastructure utilities, as part of Al Furousiya Street Development Project.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the diversion. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن افتتاح جزئي لتقاطع المناصير للمرور بعد إزالة الدوار المؤقت، كما هو موضح في الخريطة المرفقة، وذلك اعتباراً من الجمعة 7 ديسمبر 2018 وبالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور.
وكانت “أشغال” قد قامت بتحويل التقاطع إلى دوار مؤقت بإشارات ضوئية بهدف إتاحة المجال لتنفيذ أعمال توسعة تقاطع المناصير لاستيعاب الحركة المرورية الحالية والمستقبلية من خلال إنشاء مسارات إضافية، حيث سيضم التقاطع عند اكتماله بالكامل أربعة مسارات رئيسية، وثلاثة مسارات للاتجاه يساراً، ومسار مخصص للالتفاف والعودة على شارع الفروسية. كما سيتم إنشاء شبكة جديدة للمياه السطحية ومرافق بنية تحتية أخرى، وذلك ضمن أعمال مشروع تطوير شارع الفروسية.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التغيير المروري، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
