Amir affirms Qatar’s support for Sudan

Doha: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held via telephone a conversation with President of Sudan, Omar Hassan Ahmed Al Bashir.
During the phone call, President Al Bashir briefed H H the Amir on the developments in Sudan.
In this regard, H H the Amir affirmed the State of Qatar’s support for Sudan and its readiness to offer help to overcome these conditions, reiterating H H the Amir’ keenness on Sudan’s security and stability.
On his part, President Al Bashir extended thanks to H H the Amir for his keenness and concern.
أجرى حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، مساء اليوم، اتصالا هاتفيا مع أخيه فخامة الرئيس المشير عمر حسن أحمد البشير رئيس جمهورية السودان الشقيقة.
جرى خلال الاتصال استعراض الأوضاع في السودان حيث أطلع فخامة الرئيس أخاه سمو الأمير على التطورات الحاصلة، وفي هذا الصدد أكد سموه وقوف دولة قطر مع السودان، واستعدادها لتقديم العون لتجاوز هذه الظروف، مؤكدا حرص سموه على استقرار السودان وأمنه، من جانبه شكر فخامة الرئيس السوداني سمو الأمير على حرصه واهتمامه.
