Four-Days Temporary Diversion on Salwa Road Eastbound Carriageway
تحويل مروري مؤقت لمدة أربعة أيام على طريق سلوى باتجاه الدوحة بين تقاطع روضة راشد وتقاطع مسيعيد
The Public Works Authority, ‘Ashghal’, has announced the implementation of a temporary diversion on Salwa Road eastbound carriageway between Rawdat Rashed Interchange (Exit 29) and Mesaieed Interchange (Exit 24) for a distance of 2.2 kilometers to allow the installation of gantries at Mesaieed Interchange.
The proposed diversion has been designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, and will remain in place for a period of four days, starting on Thursday, 22 November until Sunday, 25 November.
As shown on the attached map, traffic heading eastbound on Salwa Road towards Doha will be diverted to the westbound carriageway after Rawdat Rashed Interchange and will return to normal flow before reaching Mesaieed Interchange. During this diversion, the number of lanes will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes in order to accommodate traffic movement in both directions.
During this traffic change, the right turn exit at Mesaieed Interchange will be temporarily closed; road users heading from Bu Samra towards Mesaieed will follow the signs and use the three loops to exit Mesaieed Interchange towards Mesaieed.
The temporary realignment of Salwa Road will prevent traffic access from Salwa Service Road to Salwa Road, Road users will be directed to Rawdat Rashed Interchange through which they can get onto Salwa Road.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the closure. ‘Ashghal’ requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, which remains at 80 kph for this section of Salwa Road, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” بتحويل مروري مؤقت على طريق سلوى الرئيسي باتجاه الدوحة في الجزء ما بين تقاطع روضة راشد (مخرج 29) وتقاطع مسيعيد (مخرج 24) لمسافة 2.2 كيلومتر، حيث سيتم خلال فترة التحويل المروري إغلاق كامل للمسارات المتجهة إلى الدوحة وتحويل الحركة المرورية إلى الجهة المقابلة من الطريق لتشمل مسارات بكلا الاتجاهين، وذلك بعد تقاطع روضة راشد وإعادة الحركة المرورية إلى مسارها الطبيعي قبل الوصول إلى تقاطع مسيعيد.
يبدأ تنفيذ تغيير حركة السير بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور اعتباراً من يوم الخميس الموافق 22 نوفمبر وحتى يوم الأحد الموافق 25 نوفمبر، وذلك بهدف استكمال أعمال الطريق المداري وطريق الشاحنات وإتاحة المجال أمام تركيب اللوحات الإرشادية الدائمة للمشروع.
وتشير “أشغال” إلى أنه مع تعديل المرور سيتم توفير مسارين فقط في كل اتجاه بدلاً من أربعة مسارات في كل اتجاه.
كما سيتم إغلاق المخرج الأيمن لتقاطع مسيعيد، لذا ستقوم الهيئة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية المؤقتة لرواد الطريق المتجهين من بو سمرة إلى مسيعيد، حيث سيتم تحويل الحركة المرورية عبر المخارج الالتفافية الثلاث لتقاطع مسيعيد للتمكن من الاتجاه إلى مسيعيد.
وسيؤثر هذا التغيير المؤقت على الحركة المرورية لطريق سلوى للخدمات، حيث سيتم إغلاق المخرج المؤدي منه إلى طريق سلوى الرئيسي وتحويل الحركة المرورية عبر تقاطع روضة راشد حيث يستطيع رواد الطريق استخدام المخرج المؤدي مباشرة إلى طريق سلوى،كما هو مبين بالخريطة المرفقة.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التغيير المروري، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة حالياً على طريق سلوى عند 80 كيلومتر في الساعة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم
