Partial Removal of the roundabout located west of Al Mazrooah Interchange
إزالة جزئية للدوار الواقع غرب تقاطع المزروعة
The Public Works Authority, ‘Ashghal’, has announced partial removal of the roundabout located west of Al Mazrooah Interchange which will be implemented on Friday 05 October 2018 to allow the completion of road construction works at Al Mazrooah Interchange.
The proposed roundabout removal has been designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic and will remain permanently in place.
As shown on the attached map, road users can follow the following directions according to their destinations:
From Umm Slal Ali area:
Exiting Umm Slal Ali area, road users can directly access the Orbital Road westbound lanes and drive for a distance of 2km towards Al Mazrooah roundabout. At Al Mazrooah roundabout, they can make a U-turn and access the Orbital Road eastbound lanes , through which they can:
- Exit the Orbital Road at the first right turn in order to access all Umm Slal Mohammed facilities such as the Health Centre, the Girls’ School and the petrol station.
- Drive straight heading to Al Mazrooah Interchange where they can access Al Shamal Road towards Al Ruwais and all northern areas via the north-east ramp, or
- Head straight towards Lusail
From Umm Slal Mohammed area
Road users coming from Umm Slal Mohammed area and wishing to reach Umm Slal Ali facilities such as the Immigration Services Centre, the Civil Defense and the Police Department, will exit Umm Slal Mohammed area and access the Orbital eastbound lanes. On the Orbital Road, drive straight towards Al Mazrooah Interchange and use the east roundabout at the interchange to do a U-turn; then continue straight and use the exit towards the above destinations.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic shift and request all road users to abide by the speed limit which remains at 80 kph along the route, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” بإزالة جزئية للدوار الواقع غرب تقاطع المزروعة بشكل دائم يوم الجمعة الموافق 5 أكتوبر 2018 وذلك بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور لإستكمال أعمال الطريق عند تقاطع المزروعة.
وكما يظهر بالخريطة المرفقة، يمكن لرواد الطريق اتباع الاتجاهات المذكورة حسب وجهتهم:
من منطقة أم صلال علي:
عند الخروج من منطقة أم صلال علي، يستطيع رواد الطريق الدخول مباشرة إلى الطريق المداري بإتجاه الغرب و مواصلة السير لمسافة 2 كم للوصول الى دوار المزروعة حيث يمكنهم الدوران الى الخلف عند الدوار والدخول الى الطريق المداري بإتجاه الشرق، ويمكنهم القيام بما يلي:
- الخروج من الطريق المداري عند أول منعطف الى اليمين للوصول الى مجمعات أم صلال محمد الخدمية مثل المركز الصحي، مدرسة البنات ومحطة الوقود
- متابعة السير مباشرة نحو تقاطع المزروعة للإتجاه إلى الرويس والمناطق الشمالية من خلال المخرج الشمالي-الشرقي والمؤدي إلى طريق الشمال
- متابعة السير مباشرة نحو لوسيل
من منطقة أم صلال محمد:
يستطيع رواد الطريق القادمون من منطقة أم صلال محمد والراغبون بالوصول إلى مجمعات أم صلال علي الخدمية مثل مركز الخدمات والدفاع المدني ومركز الشرطة الخروج من منطقة أم صلال محمد والدخول إلى الطريق المداري باتجاه الشرق، ثم متابعة رحلتهم مباشرة نحو تقاطع المزروعة واستخدام الدوار الشرقي عند التقاطع والدوران إلى الخلف ثم مواصلة رحلتهم مباشرة واستخدام المخرج نحو الوجهات المذكورة أعلاه.
وستقوم “أشغال” بتثبيت اللوحات الإرشادية والمرورية اللازمة لتنبيه السائقين، مشددة على ضرورة التزام مستخدمي الطريق بالسرعات المقررة عند 80 كيلومتر في الساعة واتباع اللافتات لضمان سلامتهم.
