Removal of a temporary traffic diversion on Dukhan North Service Road
إزالة التحويلة المرورية المؤقتة على طريق دخان الشمالي للخدمات
The Public Works Authority, ‘Ashghal’, has announced that it will remove a temporary traffic diversion on Dukhan North Service Road that connects the road from Umm Al Afai area towards Dehaliyat Interchange and vice versa.
The detour has been designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic. It will be implemented on Saturday 15 September 2018 and it will be permanently in place.
As shown on the attached map, Road users will follow the following directions according to their destinations:
From Al Khor to Dukhan:
Road users travelling southbound on Orbital Road from Al Khor will join Dukhan Road at Umm Al Afaei interchange towards Doha. Once at Dukhan Road, they will need to head east for a distance of 2 kilometers towards Umm Al Juwashin interchange and make a U-turn via the interchange loops following the signs towards Dukhan.
From Dukhan North Service road to Doha / Umm Al Afaei Petrol Station
Road users travelling towards Doha / umm al Afaei Petrol Station will head towards Dehaliyat Interchange; make a U-turn at the roundabout, then continue east towards Umm Al Juwashin Interchange. At Umm Al Juwashin Interchange they must follow the signs towards their destination.
From Dukhan to Al Khor
Road users travelling from Dukhan towards Al Khor on Dukhan road will head east on Dukhan road towards Umm Al Juwashin Interchange on the New Orbital Road and will be using the same current route through Umm Al Juwashin Interchange loops. All local access on the service road will be normally accessed through Dehaliyat Interchange.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic shift and request all road users to abide by the speed limit that will not change along the route, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety
تقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” بإزالة التحويلة المرورية المؤقتة على طريق دخان الشمالي للخدمات بشكل دائم التي تربط الطريق من منطقة أم الافاعي نحو تقاطع الدحيليات وبالاتجاه المعاكس اعتباراً من يوم السبت الموافق 15 سبتمبر 2018 وبالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور.
وكما هو موضح بالخريطة المرفقة، بإمكان رواد الطريق اتباع الاتجاهات المذكورة حسب وجهتهم:
من الخور الى دخان:
يستطيع رواد الطريق المتجهون جنوباً من الخور على الطريق المداري الاستمرار مباشرة للوصول الى طريق دخان عبر استخدام مخرج تقاطع أم الأفاعي نحو الدوحة و مواصلة السير شرقاً لمسافة 2 كم للوصول الى تقاطع ام الجواشن ثم الدوران الى الخلف من خلال المخارج الالتفافية على التقاطع واتباع اللوحات المرورية نحو دخان.
من طريق دخان الشمالي للخدمات الى الدوحة / محطة بترول ام الأفاعي:
يستطيع رواد الطريق على طريق دخان الشمالي للخدمات المتجهين نحوالدوحة / محطة بترول أم الافاعي الوصول الى تقاطع الدحيليات والدوران الى الخلف على الدوار ثم التوجه شرقا على طريق دخان نحو تقاطع ام الجواشن حيث يقومون باتباع اللوحات المرورية نحو وجهتهم المحددة.
من دخان الى الخور:
يستطيع رواد الطريق المتجهين من دخان الى الخور مواصلة سيرهم شرقا على طريق دخان كالمعتاد نحو تقاطع ام الجواشن حيث يقومون بالدوران الى الخلف من خلال المخارج الالتفافية على التقاطع واتباع اللوحات المرورية نحو الخور.
وستقوم “أشغال” بتثبيت الإرشادات واللوحات المرورية اللازمة لتنبيه السائقين، مشددة على ضرورة التزام مستخدمي الطريق بالسرعات المقررة واتباع اللافتات لضمان سلامتهم.
