Mock drill on contingency scenario in Doha Metro
«الداخلية» تناقش مع «الريل» سيناريو حالات الطوارئ بمترو الدوحة
DOHA: The Public Transportation Security Department of the Ministry of Interior organised a meeting with the Railways Company to discuss the contingency scenario in the Doha Metro in the presence of representatives from a number of Ministry of Interior departments participating in the mock drill including Civil Defense, Al Fazaa, NCC and Traffic Directorate.
Major Jassim Abdulrahman Al Sulaiti, Assistant Director of Public Transport Security Department, explained during the meeting the need to prepare and implement such operational scenarios in the metro stations in order to combine efforts in finding an integrated security system that is effective and in order to reach the best levels. The emergency plan was discussed in its theoretical framework, the procedures were reviewed and several procedures were agreed upon.
As part of that plan, a mock exercise was carried out at the economic station near Hamad International Airport to increase the readiness of all security authorities in preparation for the operational phase of the Doha Metro.
نظمت إدارة أمن النقل العام بوزارة الداخلية مع شركة السكك الحديدية (الريل) اجتماعاً لمناقشة سيناريو حالات الطوارئ بمترو الدوحة، بحضور عدد من ممثلي إدارات وزارة الداخلية المشاركة في التمرين (الدفاع المدني، والفزعة، ومركز القيادة الوطني NCC، والمرور)، وقوة لخويا، ومؤسسة حمد الطبية، بهدف تحقيق وتعزيز التعاون المشترك بين تلك الجهات.
وأكد الرائد جاسم عبد الرحمن السليطي، مساعد مدير إدارة أمن النقل العام، خلال الاجتماع، ضرورة إعداد وتنفيذ مثل هذه السيناريوهات المكتبية والعملية في محطات المترو، بهدف تضافر الجهود في إيجاد منظومة أمنية متكاملة تتسم بالفاعلية، وبهدف الوصول إلى أفضل المستويات، وذلك بمشاركة الجهات المختصة. وأضاف الرائد جاسم السليطي أنه تمت مناقشة خطة الطوارئ في شقها النظري، واستعراض الإجراءات المتبعة، كل حسب اختصاصه، وتم الاتفاق على عدة إجراءات يتم العمل بموجبها.
وفي إطار تلك الخطة، جرى تنفيذ تمرين وهمي في المحطة الاقتصادية، قرب مطار حمد الدولي، وذلك لرفع الجاهزية لدى جميع الجهات الأمنية استعداداً للمرحلة التشغيلية لمترو الدوحة.;
