Free Zones Authority approves licensing, registration regulations
هيئة المناطق الحرة” تصدر لوائح بنظام ترخيص وتسجيل الشركات في المناطق الحرة
DOHA: The Free Zones Authority has approved the Licensing and Registration Regulations for companies in Qatar Free Zones. Corporate licensing is an essential step in enabling both foreign and local investors to register companies and identify the type of commercial activity they wish to practice within Free Zone Areas.
This came during a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Free Zones Authority which was held under the chairmanship of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Free Zones Authority Board, Ahmad bin Mohammed Al Sayed.
The meeting follows four previous sessions that were held by the Board to discuss a wide range of topics. The Board is currently advancing the implementation of the next phase of approved plans including organisation and infrastructure. The Free Zones Authority which has been established under Law No. (34) of 2005, as amended by Decree Law No. (21) of 2017, is developing all the regulations necessary to attract investments in line with the sustainable development needs of the State of Qatar. The Free Zones Authority is working to provide appropriate infrastructure and investment climate for various businesses who will also enjoy many advantages and business incentives within the Free Zone Areas.
The Free Zones Authority is currently in the process of finalizing the required procedures in order to start receiving applications for companies wishing to join the Free Zone Areas.
وافقت هيئة المناطق الحرة، على إصدار لوائح ترخيص الشركات ولائحة نظام تسجيل الشركات في المناطق الحرة بالدولة، حيث تعتبر لوائح تنظيم ترخيص الشركات خطوة أساسية لتمكين المستثمرين الأجانب والمحليين من تسجيل الشركات وتحديد الأنشطة الاقتصادية التي يرغبون في ممارستها في المناطق الحرة.
جاء ذلك خلال اجتماع مجلس إدارة هيئة المناطق الحرة الذي عقد برئاسة سعادة السيد أحمد بن محمد السيد (رئيس مجلس الإدارة)، والذي يأتي أيضا استكمالا للاجتماعات الأربعة التي سبق أن عقدها المجلس لمناقشة مجموعة واسعة من الموضوعات المتعلقة بنظام عمل الهيئة ومتابعة تطوير المناطق الحرة، وقد تم إحراز تقدم ملموس لإطلاق الخطط التي تم الموافقة عليها، والهياكل التنظيمية، إلى جانب ما تم إنجازه حتى الآن من أعمال البنية التحتية.
وتعكف هيئة المناطق الحرة منذ تأسيسها بمقتضى القانون رقم (34) لسنة 2005، المعدل بالمرسوم بقانون رقم (21) لسنة 2017، على وضع كافة اللوائح التنظيمية اللازمة وتطوير وتنظيم المناطق الحرة في دولة قطر وفقا لأفضل المعايير الدولية لتشجيع وجذب الاستثمارات في العديد من المجالات والأنشطة الاقتصادية والتجارية والصناعية بما في ذلك مجالات التكنولوجيا والإنتاج والتصدير وغيرها، وفقا لاستراتيجية وتوجه الدولة في جذب الاستثمارات المحلية والأجنبية ومتطلبات التنمية المستدامة، مع توفير الضمانات اللازمة للحفاظ على رؤوس الأموال وتدفقها بصورة تتوافق مع الأصول والمبادئ المعتمدة في مجالات التجارة الدولية.
كما أن الهيئة بصدد استكمال الإجراءات اللازمة للبدء في استقبال طلبات الشركات الراغبة بالانضمام إلى المناطق الحرة.
