MME intensifies operation for Eid Al Fitr preparation

QNA – Doha:
The General Cleanliness Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment has intensified efforts to clean and sweep main roads, public places, residential areas and cities under its Eid Al Fitr preparation.
The cleaning team is working to wash all garbage containers placed at the houses, said the Ministry in a statement.
Since the closers of public facilities like public parks, beaches, mosques and Eid Al Fitr prayer grounds, following state measures to curb the spread of COVID-19, the work is limited to conduct inspection campaigns throughout the day.
The Health Monitoring Section of Al Sheehaniya Municipality intensified inspection campaigns on restaurants, food outlets and shops selling sweets and chocolates under the preparation of Eid Al Fitr.
The municipal inspectors recorded nine violations of the provisions of the Law No. 8 of 1990 for regulating foods.
The Municipality said that the inspection campaigns will continue on all food outlets till the end of the holy month of Ramadan and during the holidays of Eid Al Fitr.

أتمَّت إدارة النظافة العامة بوزارة البلدية والبيئة استعداداتها لعيد الفطر المبارك، حيث قامت بتكثيف جهودها لتنظيف وكنس الشوارع الرئيسية والأماكن العامة والمدن والأحياء السكنية، بالإضافة إلى عمليات غسيل جميع الحاويات الموجودة في النقاط الموزعة مسبقاً لخدمة المنازل. ونظراً لإغلاق المرافق العامة كالمتنزهات والشواطئ والمساجد ومصليات العيد ضمن إجراءات الدولة الاحترازية للحد من انتشار فيروس كورونا، فيقتصر العمل بالقيام بجولات تفتيشية على مدار اليوم.
