Health Centers Received Over 32,000 Visitors During Eid Al-fitr Holiday

Doha: The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) announced that its 20 health centers that were operating during Eid Al-fitr had received over 32,000 visitors during the holiday period, which extended from April 19-27,2023.

PHCC indicated that the clinics of general and family medicines had a substantial number of visitors which received 21754 visitors, while general dental clinics received 1378 visitors, as well as urgent cases units in 10 health centers that received visitors during the holiday period. Moreover, PHCC added that it had provided a range of services of specialized clinics, including optometry services, nose, ear, nose and throat, dermatology, and premarital examination, in addition to pharmaceutical, x-ray and laboratory services.

In addition, the PHCC’s Community Call Center provided 1014 virtual medical consultations for visitors who communicated with the corporation without a prior appointment via the service line 16000, since such type of consultations offers fast access to patients whose medical conditions are considered urgent and require necessary health care, including prescribing medications patients swiftly need through a professional physician.

The PHCC also continued to provide vaccination services against COVID-19 virus in its health centers that had been working in shifts during this period, stressing that all health centers that had been working in shifts were keen to receive all visitors and fulfil their needs in a timely fashion avoiding patients’ waiting for long time. It pointed out that fulfilling visitors’ needs is one of the top priorities the PHCC strives to achieve, as one of the critical pillars of National Health Strategy in consistent with Qatar National Vision 2030.

الدوحة: أعلنت مؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية أن مراكزها الصحية المناوبة في إجازة عيد الفطر المبارك، والبالغ عددها 20 مركزا، استقبلت أكثر من 32 ألف مراجع خلال فترة الإجازة التي امتدت من التاسع عشر إلى السابع والعشرين من أبريل الجاري.

وأوضحت المؤسسة أن عيادات الطب العام وطب الأسرة كان لها النصيب الأكبر من المراجعين، حيث استقبلت 21754 مراجعا، بينما استقبلت عيادات الأسنان العامة 1378 مراجعا، فضلا عن وحدات الحالات العاجلة في 10 مراكز صحية التي استقبلت المراجعين خلال فترة الإجازة.

وأضافت أنها وفرت خلال إجازة العيد عددا من خدمات العيادات التخصصية، شملت تخصصات العيون والأنف والأذن والحنجرة والأمراض الجلدية وفحص ما قبل الزواج، بالإضافة إلى الخدمات الصيدلانية والأشعة والمختبر.

وقدم مركز الاتصال المجتمعي التابع لمؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية 1014 استشارة طبية افتراضية مرئية وغير مرئية للمراجعين الذين تواصلوا بدون موعد مسبق مع خط الخدمة 16000، حيث يحقق هذا النوع من الاستشارات سرعة حصول المرضى الذين يتم تصنيف حالاتهم بأنها عاجلة على الرعاية الصحية اللازمة، وكذلك وصف الأدوية التي يحتاجون اليها عن طريق طبيب متخصص في اسرع وقت، كما واصلت المؤسسة تقديم خدمات التطعيم ضد فيروس /كوفيد-19/ في مراكزها الصحية المناوبة خلال تلك الفترة.

وشددت مؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية على أن جميع المراكز الصحية المناوبة حرصت على استقبال جميع المراجعين دون تأخير في تلبية احتياجاتهم أو زيادة في وقت انتظارهم، مشيرة إلى أن تلبية احتياجات المراجعين يعد إحدى الأولويات الرئيسية التي تحرص المؤسسة على تحقيقها، باعتبار ذلك من أهم ركائز الاستراتيجية الوطنية للصحة، وبما يتوافق مع رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030.
