Sidra Medicine Launches Pediatric Wellness Clinic

Doha: Sidra Medicine, a member of Qatar Foundation, has launched a new private Pediatric Wellness Clinic for children and young people up to the age of 18.

The clinic offers various diagnostic and preventative services, including immunizations. The clinics highly qualified team evaluate and track growth and development, and assists parents in playing a crucial part in their child’s well-being.

Executive Chair of Pediatric Medicine at Sidra Medicine Dr. Ahmed Al Hammadi said: “Our Pediatric Wellness Clinic, takes a very family centered approach to care, as we look into the family health history to determine the state of their childs current health and lifestyle. Being able to acquire important information related to their toddler or teenagers physical, emotional and mental health, will help them make impactful decisions and take necessary actions to maintain their childs well-being.” Services at the Pediatric Wellness Clinic, include physical examination, measurement weight, and height monitoring. The clinics developmental surveillance and screening services include newborn screening; developmental and mental health screening.

The clinic also offers a comprehensive list of vaccines, in accordance with Qatars Ministry of Public Health’s recommendations, as well as vaccines that comply with international requirements.

The Pediatric Wellness Clinic is a private service and does not require a referral.

الدوحة: أطلق سدرة للطب، عضو مؤسسة قطر، عيادة /صحة الأطفال/ الخاصة الجديدة للأطفال واليافعين حتى سن 18 عاما لتقدم مجموعة متنوعة من الخدمات الوقائية والتشخيصية لتحسين الحالة الصحية لهذه الفئة العمرية والحفاظ عليها.

وقال الدكتور أحمد الحمادي الرئيس التنفيذي لقسم طب الأطفال بسدرة للطب إن العيادة الجديدة تتيح نهجا يركز على رعاية ودعم الأسرة، حيث يتم تقييم التاريخ الصحي والحصول على معلومات تتعلق بالصحة الجسدية والعاطفية والنفسية للطفل الصغير أو المراهق مما يساعد العيادة على تقديم التثقيف الصحي وإجراء الفحوصات الاستباقية اللازمة لتعزيز صحة طفلهم.

وأشار إلى أن خدمات العيادة تتضمن تقديم النصائح والإجابة عن الأسئلة الشائعة المتعلقة بالرضاعة الطبيعية والتغذية والنوم والسلامة في المنزل والمدرسة ومراجعة نتائج الفحوصات الروتينية وذلك لتحري حدوث أي حالات مرضية وتشخيصها وعلاجها في مرحلة مبكرة أو الوقاية منها.

كما تتضمن الخدمات المقدمة في عيادة صحة الأطفال الفحص البدني وقياس الوزن ومراقبة الطول، إلى جانب فحص الأطفال حديثي الولادة وفحص النمو والصحة النفسية.

وتقدم العيادة أيضا قائمة شاملة من اللقاحات، بما يتوافق مع توصيات وزارة الصحة العامة، بالإضافة إلى اللقاحات التي تتوافق مع التوصيات العلمية الدولية مثل لقاحات فيروس الورم الحليمي البشري لكل من الذكور والإناث ولقاح التهاب السحايا (ب).

وذكر سدرة للطب أن عيادة صحة الأطفال هي خدمة خاصة ولا تتطلب الحصول على تحويل طبي مسبق فهي تعد جزءا من العيادات المسائية الخاصة في سدرة للطب.
