PHCC Launches Medication Appointment Reminder Service

Doha: Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced the launch of an SMS service to remind the patients of their medication schedule via health centers’ pharmacies that have already been automatically prescribed by the attending physician a week before the date of dispensing the medication.
Through this service, the patients are reminded again of the schedule of dispensing the prescribed medication three days before the exact schedule once the patient has not received his medication, either through visiting the health center or through capitalizing on the delivery service to homes.
In this regard, the Director of Health Information Systems at PHCC Alexandra Tarazi said that the service will also be available in the future on the phone application “Nar’aakom” of PHCC, in addition to the medication delivery service through access to the personal account on the application.
For her part, the Director of Pharmacy at PHCC, Dr. Manal Al Zaidan pointed out the continuation of the application of the medication delivery service to homes in collaboration with Qatar Post through the contact with the telephone numbers of the health centers via WhatsApp application that was dedicated to each health center, clarifying that the service is available right now for the whole people who had registered their names in the health centers, affirming that PHCC has the entire required medicines with ample quantities, adding that people should not be concerned about any potential shortage of any type of medicines.

الدوحة: أعلنت مؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية عن إطلاق خدمة الرسائل النصية لتذكير المرضى بمواعيد الحصول على الأدوية الخاصة بهم عن طريق الصيدليات التابعة للمراكز الصحية والتي سبق للطبيب المعالج أن جدد صرفها لهم تلقائيا، وذلك قبل أسبوع من موعد صرف هذه الأدوية.
كما يتم من خلال الخدمة إعادة التذكير مجددا بموعد صرف الدواء قبل 3 أيام من موعد الصرف في حال لم يقم المريض باستلام أدويته سواء عن طريق الذهاب إلى المركز الصحي أو من خلال الاستفادة من خدمة توصيل الأدوية إلى المنازل.
وبهذا الخصوص، قالت السيدة ألكسندرا طرزي المدير التنفيذي لإدارة نظم المعلومات الصحية بمؤسسة الرعاية الأولية، إن الخدمة ستكون متاحة أيضا في المستقبل على تطبيق الهاتف /نرعاكم/ الخاص بمؤسسة الرعاية، إضافة إلى خدمة توصيل الأدوية من خلال الدخول للحساب الشخصي على التطبيق.
بدروها، أشارت الدكتورة منال الزيدان مديرة إدارة الصيدلة في مؤسسة الرعاية، إلى استمرار تطبيق خدمة التوصيل المنزلي للأدوية بالتعاون مع بريد قطر، وذلك من خلال التواصل بأرقام هواتف المراكز الصحية عبر تطبيق /واتساب/، والتي تم تخصيصها لكل مركز صحي.
وأوضحت أن الخدمة متاحة لجميع المسجلين في المراكز الصحية، مؤكدة أن صيدليات مؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية تتوافر فيها كافة الأدوية المطلوبة وبكميات كافية، ولا توجد مخاوف من إمكانية حدوث أي نقص في أي نوع منها.
