YoY 10.6% Surge in Total Broad Money Supply Last July

Doha: The Planning and Statistics Authority (PSA) issued Friday its monthly statistics bulletin “Qatar; Monthly Statistics,” which showed that Total Broad Money Supply (M2) recorded about QR 675 billion during July 2022, an annual increase of 10.6% compared with July 2021. On the other hand, cash equivalents; including Commercial Bank Deposits, attained for approximately QR 965 billion during July 2022. The figure has recorded an annual increase of 1.2% compared to July 2021, when deposits recorded approximately QR 954 billion.

The data also showed that the general index of the Qatar Stock Exchange increased during July 2022 at a monthly rate of 9.7% compared to June 2022, and an annual increase of 24.3% compared to July 2021.

Tourism data revealed that the total number of visitors to the State of Qatar reached nearly 150,000, representing a monthly increase of 3.3% compared to June 2022, and an annual increase of 292.9% compared to July 2021. Visitors from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries represented 62%. As for visitors by type of port, visitors by land represented the highest percentage, at 55% of the total number of visitors.

As for the Social Security statements, reached QR 78 million in July 2022, for 14,495 beneficiaries, recording a monthly decrease of 0.2% for the value of social security and a monthly increase of 0.4% for the number of beneficiaries of Social Security.

Regarding the data of buildings permits issued, the total number of permits has reached 550 permits during July 2022, recording a monthly decrease of 27.2% and an annual increase of 3.4%.

The demographic statistics revealed that the total population of Qatar has increased from 2.38 million during July 2021 to 2.66 million at end of June 2022.

Regarding to Vital Statistics, 2222 live births have been registered during July 2022. Also, an increase in the total Qatari live births by 10.2% compared to last June 2022. On the other hand, 213 deaths were recorded during the same period, an increase of 19.7% compared to June 2022.

Moreover, July 2022 has experienced a monthly decrease by 24.9% and 31.1% in marriage contracts and divorce certificates respectively. The total number of marriage contracts was 280 contracts, whereas the total No. of divorces has reached 184 divorce cases.

Total electricity consumption during July 2022 was 5,548.6 GWh attaining a monthly increase of 7.4% and an annual increase of 0.7%. While the total water consumption has reached 57,408.3 thousand m3 during the same month attaining a monthly decrease of 1.4% and an annual decrease of 0.5%.

The total number of registered new vehicles during July 2022 has reached 5,849 new vehicles. The figure showed a monthly decrease of 27% and an annual increase of 7.5%.

As for the data concerning traffic accidents cases without counting the accidents without injuries, it reached a total number of 629 cases during July 2022 showing a monthly decrease of 15.7% compared to June 2022 and an annual increase of 24.3% compared to July 2021. Total cases of minor casualties recorded the vast majority of cases of these accidents during the same month with 92.4% followed by cases of major casualties with 4.5%. As for the total cases of death it reached 20 cases of death recording 3.2% of traffic accident cases.

الدوحة: أظهر جهاز التخطيط والإحصاء في نشرته (قطر، إحصاءات شهرية) الصادرة، يوم أمس، ارتفاع قيمة عرض النقد الواسع (2) بنسبة 10.6 بالمئة خلال شهر يوليو الماضي على أساس سنوي إلى حوالي 675 مليار ريال قياساً بذات الفترة من العام الماضي، بينما بلغت قيمة شبه النقد الذي يشمل ودائع البنوك التجارية حوالي 965 مليار ريال خلال الشهر ذاته، مسجلاً بذلك ارتفاعاً سنوياً بلغت نسبته 1.2 بالمئة مقارنة بشهر يوليو 2021، حيث كان إجمالي الودائع حينها حوالي 954 مليار ريال.

كما أوضحت البيانات ارتفاع المؤشر العام لبورصة قطر في يوليو الماضي بمعدل شهري قدره 9.7 بالمئة مقارنة شهر يونيو 2022، وبارتفاع سنوي بلغ 24.3 بالمئة قياساً بشهر يوليو 2021.

وكشفت البيانات السياحية عن بلوغ إجمالي عدد الزوار الوافدون إلى دولة قطر قرابة 150 ألف زائر بارتفاع شهري قدره 3.3 بالمئة مقارنة بشهر يونيو 2022، وبارتفاع سنوي 292.9 بالمئة قياساً بشهر يوليو 2021، وشكل زوار دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي لدول الخليج العربية نسبة 62 بالمئة، أما فيما يخص الزوار حسب نوع المنفذ فقد شكل الزوار عن طريق البر النسبة الأعلى بواقع 55 بالمئة من إجمالي عدد الزوار.

أما عن بيانات الضمان الاجتماعي فقد بلغت قيمتها 78 مليون ريال في يوليو الماضي لعدد 14495 مستفيداً بانخفاض شهري 0.2 بالمئة لقيمة الضمان الاجتماعي، وارتفاعاً شهرياً بلغ 0.4 بالمئة لعدد المستفيدين من الضمان الاجتماعي.

وفيما يخص بيانات رخص البناء الصادرة، فقد بلغ إجمالي عدد الرخص 550 رخصة خلال شهر يوليو الماضي بانخفاض شهري بلغت نسبته 27.2 بالمئة، وارتفاعاً سنوياً قدره 3.4 بالمئة.

وأوضحت البيانات الديموغرافية ارتفاع إجمالي السكان المتواجدين في الدولة من 2,38 مليون نسمة في يوليو 2021 إلى 2,66 مليون نسمة في يوليو الماضي.

وبالنسبة إلى الإحصاءات الحيوية فقد بلغ إجمالي المواليد أحياء 2222 مولوداً خلال شهر يوليو 2022، وسجل إجمالي المواليد الأحياء القطرين ارتفاعاً بنسبة 10.2 بالمئة عن الشهر الماضي، في حين بلغ إجمالي عدد الوفيات 213 حالة وفاة مسجلة ارتفاعا بنسبة 19.7 بالمئة عن شهر يونيو 2022.

وشهد شهر يوليو 2022 انخفاضاً شهرياً بنسبة 24.9 بالمئة و31.1 بالمئة من إجمالي عقود الزواج وإجمالي إشهادات الطلاق كل على حدة عن الشهر السابق، حيث بلغ إجمالي عدد عقود الزواج 280 عقد زواج، في حين بلغ إجمالي عدد إشهادات الطلاق 184 حالة طلاق.

وبلغ استهلاك الكهرباء خلال شهر يوليو من هذا العام حوالي 5548.6 جيجا واط في الساعة، مسجلاً ارتفاعاً شهرياً بنسبة 7.4 بالمئة وارتفاعاً سنوياً قدره 0.7 بالمئة، بينما بلغ إجمالي استهلاك المياه 57408.3 ألف متر مكعب خلال الشهر نفسه، مسجلاً بذلك ارتفاعاً شهرياً بنسبة 1.4 بالمئة، وانخفاضاً سنوياً بلغ 0.5 بالمئة.

كما أوضحت النشرة أن مجموع المركبات المسجلة خلال شهر يوليو من العام الجاري بلغ 5849 مركبة جديدة مسجلة بذلك انخفاضاً شهرياً بنسبة 27 بالمئة، وارتفاعاً سنوياً قدره 7.5 بالمئة.

وبالنسبة للبيانات المتعلقة بقضايا الحوادث المرورية دون احتساب الحوادث بلا إصابات، فقد بلغ إجمالي عددها 629 خلال شهر يوليو 2022، مسجلاً بذلك انخفاضاً شهرياً بنسبة 15.7 بالمئة، وارتفاعاً سنوياً قدره 24.3 بالمئة، وقد سجلت الإصابات الخفيفة الغالبية العظمى من قضايا الحوادث المرورية خلال نفس الشهر بنسبة 92.4 بالمئة تليها الإصابات البليغة بنسبة 4.5 بالمئة، أما بالنسبة للوفيات فقد بلغت 20 حالة وفاة تعادل 3.2 بالمئة فقط من إجمالي قضايا الحوادث المرورية.
