Owners given 30 days to clear and collect impounded cars

Doha: The General Directorate of Traffic announced that owners of vehicles that have been impounded for more than three months may approach the Traffic Investigation Section to complete all necessary procedures and claim the vehicles after paying penalties and ground fees within 30 days.
It further mentioned that this announcement will take effect from today, August 17, 2022. The Traffic Investigation Section is located in the Industrial Area Street No.52.
“If the owners of the impounded vehicles do not show up within the specified period, the General Directorate of Traffic will cancel those vehicles that have completed the legal period from the traffic records and display them for sale in a public auction,” the Ministry stated.

الدوحة: أعلنت الإدارة العامة للمرور أنه يجوز لأصحاب المركبات التي تم حجزها منذ أكثر من ثلاثة أشهر التوجه إلى قسم مباحث المرور لاستكمال جميع الإجراءات اللازمة والمطالبة بالمركبات بعد دفع الغرامات ورسوم الحجز خلال 30 يوماً
كما ذكرت أن هذا الإعلان سيدخل حيز التنفيذ اعتباراً من اليوم 17 أغسطس 2022. ويقع قسم التحقيق المروري في المنطقة الصناعية شارع رقم 52.
وأوضحت الوزارة أنه في حال عدم حضور أصحاب المركبات المحجوزة خلال المدة المحددة، تقوم الإدارة العامة للمرور بإلغاء المركبات التي انتهت المدة القانونية من سجلات المرور وعرضها للبيع في مزاد علني.
