MoPH withdraws a spreadable chocolate product from the Qatar market

Doha: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced the withdrawal of a chocolate spread product “Spar Spreadup Choco” from the local market and called on people who are allergic to almonds not to consume it.
The product from Belgium is being removed from sales outlets for not indicating on the product label that it contains almond nuts that cause allergies in some people.

الدوحة: أعلنت وزارة الصحة العامة عن سحب منتج “سبار سبريد أب شوكو” من السوق المحلي، وحذرت الأشخاص الذين يعانون من حساسية من اللوز إلى عدم تناوله.
وتتم إزالة المنتج البلجيكي من منافذ البيع لعدم الإشارة على ملصق المنتج إلى أنه يحتوي على مكسرات اللوز التي تسبب الحساسية لدى بعض الأشخاص.
